Does anyone have a good macro for the cave? I can't accurately make a timed one.

My advice is to skip the grind and play for fun.

Well I went to the Geonosian Caves...

I must say... for holo grinders... it is the place to be.

Using a CL 18 Hermit spider I was getting 1090xp from each crazed Genosian, and the Kiwis gave me 2K each. Life was good until I got killed. I am now 2/2/2/2 and hope to finish this week. Geno caves or bust, I guess thats the proper term.

Finally made master Saturday night. Miowik and I both finally made it. The genosian caves was the key. went from 2/2/2/3 to master in about 4-5 causal days (about 2.5 hours a night) And while the macro-AoE exploiters were in full force Saturday, I managed to pull something like 200k XP in about 2.5 hours. I hate to say it, but it was boring and a bit frustrating at times. If any of you do make a macro for the caves, use /tellpet to give your commands, please. It's fine by me for anyone to annoy the macro-AoE-ers, but macro-ing aloud your pet commands annoys everyone. And, just thinking about it, the macro-AoE-ers probably weren't getting annoyed by the aloud commands, because they were probably AFK. No, if you really want to annoy them, go down to the next spawn point beyond the 2nd room and drag some of the enhanced kwis up to the first room. That will definitely screw up their macro. But then again, it probably could annoy others as well, when the carnage ensues... those kwis are nasty!

Good luck to everyone trying to make it in this nerfed profession.

I am now 3/4/3/4, and looking forward to the finish now.... Only 200K of xp left to get.

I do want to apologize to all of you though. I never foresaw any way to have fun in CH but that has changed now. I was running around the general area of the Geonosian cave and was grabbing pets to train while waiting for a group to show up to the cave. I tamed a crystal snake and a giant crystal snake. Later on I decided to name them in my city while I was training a few Cupa's as mounts. I named the giant snake Bill-Clinton and the smaller one Al-Gore. I now make them follow me all over the place and it is a ton of fun to do. So, once again let me apologize to all of the CH's for saying it was a no-fun profession. I have had fun, not that I plan to keep it but I can see now why people do like the profession.

Thanks for your guys input, it was highly appreciated.

i have found one way to get 1500 ch exp every minute ... what slowed me down was leaving to have to train...was maxed out in exp....got 3 boxes in 3 hours..when from 2-2-2-2 to 3-2-2-4 in 3 hours..that includes finding another CH to train me .... wish i would have found this spot earlier

Lol, I got 3000 exp every minute. (the first liar never stands a chance)

Anyway, if you can't find a group, get a small pet (cl10 or so) and kill all the garbage surrounding Bestine. they spawn waaay fast. All your pet has to do is land one hit on each one before you blow it away. You'll find that you'll get most exp from a pet that is not grown but at level 5 and still considered a noob pet (CL 8-13).

Once you can get a Greater Sludge Panther, join hunts on Dantooine or Dathomir or Endor. Make sure your pet gets in at least one hit on everything that fights. (if you're doing multiples, make sure he hits each one at least once) The GSP is big enough to take a hit without getting incapped, but not too big as to prevent you from getting exp. You should get 800-1600 each for rancors of varying types. Mantrigues on Endor are high exp too. for dantooine, the various tribesmen give great exp if your pet can take a few good blows.

If you're solo with a GSP, do Huurton Howlers or Piket Protectors for most exp.

You'd also better have some great ranged weapon skills, and don't worry about outdamaging the pet because that has no bearing on your CH exp.
