Thread: Bring back Pet's HAM regeneration. Why should we be forced into the Medic profession??
why have they screwed us CHs this bad.
since they are forcing us to use docs my pets will bein the med center sitting there for ppl to heal. dont like it too freaken bad, this is the way they want us to play so im gonna play thier game, not for long prolly, canceling is sounding soooooo good.
I am commenting that is false that classes are "supposed to be independent". The classes were not created to be independent from each other. In fact, there are a number of examples to show the dependency ofone class to another. Do you take issue with that statement? That is what my comment was in regards to.
I understand the difference between wounds and damage. (Give a girl some credit in being able to understand the manual.)
I am in "wait and see" mode about the HAM regeneration rate change. I want to see how severely such a change would affect my current gameplay before planting my foot down on a specific side to this issue.
Ok, the person who said to use pet tricks to heal mind damage.
As far as I know, that heals mind WOUNDs.
There is a difference between wounds and damage.
Now, I'm not sure if there is a "surge" of faster regen when a trick is done or not..
Any CHs out there know this?
tricks heal mind damage .. and possbily mind wounds. but for sure mind damage.

master ch, master architect, master artisan
you got that the wrong way, It heals wounds, and possibly damage.
Bring back Pet's HAM regeneration. Why should we be forced into the Medic profession??
You are no more "forced" to take medic than a pistoleer is to take weaponsmithing. I am truelly surprised at the number of people who can't grasp that a single class should not do it all. The BE stims will be able to be used by anyone, and that right there is really more than we deserve in my opinion. From my standpoint, I realized that large pets will get hurt and need tending to, so I took medic skills. If your character concept doesn't include medic, then hey, I guess it includes half dead pets limping behind you after you sent it into Rancor nests. What did you spend your points on? Can I guess? An assortment of uber combat skills to which pet was supposed to be big meatshield, and you want it at no downtime?
Oh well, I'll just bring pets in medic centers and go afk if SOE wants me to play this way. (paraphrased from various people)
First, there's no reason to do that. Medic centers are only needed to heal wounds, which you can do yourself. If you refuse to get medic skills, going to a medic is a viable option, but for pitys sake there is no reason to go afk. Just tip your medic (face it, you make plenty in missions to tip a medic handsomely) to come outside and heal your pets up. It will be done plenty fast enough to not need to go afk. The only reason people are saying that they are going to go afk in medic centers is to annoy other players and to try to "force" the developers into making the change you want for the satisfaction of all other players. Once the bio engineer stims are being made, then there will be even less reason to go afk in med centers, unless you are just too cheap to pay for stims, and to cheap to pay a medic. Then you can rot in the med center for hours for anyone cares asyou wait for newbie medics to heal your pets up for free, a little at a time with thier stimless heal.
You are no more "forced" to take medic than a pistoleer is to take weaponsmithing
Oh please, big difference between the 2.
first the pistoleer can go into a weapon shop and pick up a weapon and be out hunting in no time at all,the weapon doesnt need fixing after EVERY single fight.
Pets on the other hand need healed after every fight.the regen rate as it is currently takes 30+ min for the larger ham pets.
quit saying the game requires interdependance cause it dont, it requires a limited form of dependance.
I still can't see what good that nerf should do.
I can live with the 1 pet only as master but not this.
And patch seems to have fixed that trick 2 will heal up mind damage but that still does not help me healing up my pets.
you will use almost 3 stimpack B's to heal up your pet.
So it cost you 1500-2100 credits to heal it up.
And your pet will need to get healed up like 30 times a day if you play 10 hours meaning it will cost 40,000+ a day in stimpacks.
