I have not had alot of time to fully test out the newpets against Jedi but I do have some interesting observations....


My 3 lvl 22 Cats do about 49 points of damage each per hit vs a full template jedi 1v1 duel.....not very impressive but could be effective used in combination with the other ideas in the thread.....I have had good success when I get the element of surprise


NOW.......


The other night I was Overt with a large group of Rebels defending Cnet against the IMPS.....I had my lvl69 Lurking Shearmite out as back up. He was ungrouped.


I am MBH/MCH/CM4000...so I stayed back and provided ranged support to my group who were mostly Jedi themselves.


I keep a separate combat window open so I can monitor what is going on and I notice my Shearmite doing some impressive damage against some very powerful Jedi.....He was consistantly hitting for 250+ damage per hit....He also has lightning reflexes lvl3 (I have heard that this is broken) so not real sure if that makes a difference in this case. Overall though I was rather impressed with the amount of damaga output from the pet.....I must have drawn attention because I became a direct target at one point during the fight and had to get some help to stay alive.


Anyway....It was the first "fun" experience I have had in PvP against Jedi using the pets....probably because we won and fended off 3 attack waves......In the past (pre-revemp)my pets have been so annoying to use in PvP I usually leave them in the datapad.
