How long do we wait?

and when that limit is up what would you hve us do?

Its easy to say we get nowhere with negative flamming, its alot harder to give us an option other than quit.

That is the crux of the problem isn't it? There are people here that had expectations of improvement by now and they haven't seen it. There is frustration, bitterness, and anger at the unfulfilled expectations, poor communication, and "foot in mouth" moments of the Devs.

Even if they weren't contrary to the Community Policies, would trolling, personal attacks, and similar fix the perceived wrongs? Right or wrong, SOE and LucasArts have priorities other than CH at the moment and I highly doubt than any amount of ranting will change that.

Since trolling and personal attacks actually are not an option, what other options are there besides quitting? Constructive feedback is the option best suited. You can be critical without trolling -- you just have to want to take the time to craft such a post. If the Devs don't choose to implement your ideas in a timeframe you think appropriate, you may be left with your only option being quitting. Quitting would be better, however, than being miserable wouldn't it?

Couldn't the same argument be made for people who post on these forums, though? An extremely important minority to use as a "bellweather" for the population at large, but a minority... and a hardcore one at that.

It may just be that the moderators are limited in how they can delete posts within a thread as it looks like all replies past a certain point were zapped. It may also be because the moderators saw us going down a rathole and wanted to help us get back on track before we said something that was ban-worthy.

Either way, I wouldn't read too much into it. As you mentioned, I'm one of the "nice" CH's and some of my posts were deleted too!

You know what would be funny is if GarVa would start giving us special titles -- "Nice CH", "Naughty CH", "Grumpy CH", "Doc CH", (insert names of the other seven dwarves!)
