Thread: Is Rori Barren and Void of Creatures on Your Server? (New Update for 10/11/04)

For a very long time, I have wondered what type of rare creatures might exist on Rori. Much as we have the Mire Marauder on Talus, the Wild Dune Boar and Malignant Squill on Tatooine and several others, Rori must have something like this.
The Mire Maruder is rarely seen by anyone, partly because its spawns so rarely and in a very small geographical region and partly because Talus is so devoid of players most of the time. I myself found my very first Mire Marauder over this past weekend and I have been looking for several months now.
What secrets might Rori hide???

Absolutely none. The Borgle Bat Cave was the only worthwhile thing on Rori. Beyond that it is nothing but real estate for player cities, and open range for resources. Its the SWG equivalent of the Yukon.
The closest thing to a rare is female tusk cats and tortons. Gualamas make cute pets and according to Star Wars literature are quite mountable (naturally that means it isnt so in this game)but are otherwise useless. Tortons also useless except for the stun immunity, but since they can be taken out with a couple of hits from any other weapon, they are just PvP warmups.
Its a good place for novice CH's, or lower level melee/marksmen working on easy XP. Theres a Rebel factional POI thats reasonably fun but rather short, and on Starsider is right smack in the middle of Rebel country anyways. You go in, you probably wont make it out.

i see what you are saying... at one time i had one of each vir vir (midnight, twlight, ect)... a few of the gualawhatever types (the bachlor was my fav)...
buti never have spent much time on rori, i got those on one of the few trips i made to PvP some (i miss battlefields)...
and at the rate things are going, unless you can get a mission for somethig its a rare pet...

You mention a great many creatures that are known to exist on Rori, but how many of us have truly ever spent much time on this planet? I personnally as well as many of my friends rarely, if ever, go to Rori. That being the case there are almost certainly creatures out there that spawn very rarely, but have yet to be reported.
Valid point.I've actually explored Rori on a regular basiswhile levelling Rifleman as a break from Dantooine. Very beautiful place. Love the Tortons. Too bad for their size, they are not more powerful.
