Just for clarification sp means your mind bar right?

In the trials when you become dark is it only a title or is there a diffrnce in skills, ect?

Thank You!

sp = skill points

When you become a dark jedi you get the title and there are differences in bonuses between light and dark.

Im a little bit confuzed about somthing. When you start doing the village quests you unlock certain trees. I have a few questions about that stuff.

#1 - When you become jedi are you ONLY the jedi proff? What im trying to figure out is if you can have say TKM/Jedi or somthing.

#2 - The FS trees you unlock in the village do thoes carry over to you when your a jedi?

#3 - Simply put im trying to figure out how all the skill trees work and stuff ^_^ i have checked all the stickys and they explained how to get them and stuff great but not realy what they do and if they carry over and stuff.

P.S. I am almost glowing! Weeeeee!

Yes, you can be any other profession as well... which is why we have Master Defender/Master Rifleman running around destroying everybody. Skill points are skill points, how you use them is your choice.

Yes, they carry over into jedi and if you intend on staying jedi they can't be surrendered.

I know the Jedi forums have seen a huge increase in simple questions the past few days, so your lack of replies is in combination with that. Just realize that we're not ignoring you, but there are very precise and simple FAQ's on both force sensitive, jedi and "how to become a jedi" posts out there.

You need the FS trees to become a jedi. You need to fill 6completetrees. Which is 24 boxes which will always take your skill points. that leaves you with 226 skill points to put into Jedi.

Getting the experience for those trees relies on you doing a total of 6 quests in the village, each quest unlocks a branch which you can then fill with experience converted from regular weapons and combat xp. Most would tell you to get a ranged profession and grenades to get as much weapons and combat experience as fast as you can.

Only after you get your 24 boxes are you a Jedi padawan * at this point youre a JedI -congrats * You still have your Master *enter ranged profession* and 24 skill points in fs trees. As you get novice boxes in Lightsaber, healing and such, you will have to drop your Master xxx and get your skill points back to put into jedi skills. This is your weakest period and your bounty price will increase with each box. ( 1,000 credits for every skill point in Jedi, not including your 24)

1 . So yes you can have TKM and be a Jedi padawan, but slowly you'll become more Jedi as you phase out your skill points in TKM.

2. The FS trees definitely carry over as you need the 24 sp to be a Jedi

3. Hope this helped and I suggest taking this game at a walking pace and not rush yourself *From glowy to Jedi Knight, we're talking a year* , we have a lot of Episode 3 people flowing in and filling the forums with useless questions like "How do I become a Jedi" and there are FAQ's for that. As you learn more about Jedi, pass it on =)

Sorry to seem noobish...but never did a lot o rebel squadrons....just did one for the xp bonus and that's been a long time since i mastered it...

Currently one o my toons is imp pilot...did black epsilon ( cause was my crafter alt )

also have my main toon is a freelance pilot ( he's the one with all the badges =) )...started RSF...then did some rebel one...and went back smuggler ( forget if have an imperial one...not on him atm )

question is...my 3rd toon is going to be a rebel pilot...and I'm not real picky about gettin him all the badges...

Which is the easy rebel squadron?....or is there one =)?

thanks in advance

They're all easy, Havok is the most fun due to their wacky trainers.

Yeah, it really is a shame. There is/are one or more persons at SOE that can create real funny dialogue and nice quests. Wished they kept those people creating quests full time.

If you want an easy run, don't pick the Vortex--it's accepted as the most difficult of the Alliance squadrons.

Only one I havent done yet, though i still think Crimson Phoenix is the hardest (mainly cause of one of those tier 4 missions, its great fun!). But then Im doing them the old fashioned way, limiting myself to just my factions droid programs.

All the Imp ones where easy, though I fell asleep a few times during SS and the Freelancer ones, well RSF must be the easiest squad out there.

lol all the reb squadrons are easy to master... i did all 3

the only question is which one has fewer duty missions... because it is generally accepted (in my guild at least ) that duty missions are hell in space!

tbh, rebs dont even have anything to complain about there. tier 3 and 4 in SS are absolute hell, and tier 4 on smugglers alliance has 2 missions with 1 hour escorts.

longest escort a reb gets is prolly 20 minutes lol.

personally, i enjoyed crimson phoenix best. i thought the missions were the most fun. havok was the first one i ever did, a longass time ago, so i really dont know how it is anymore... but yeah, some of the dialogue is truly funny...

*PS: for some odd reason, i didnt have to do any quests in tier 4 on crimson phoenix... i got the XP, got the training, and was on to the next... training lol. only quest i did in tier 4 was the exit quest. im not sure if that was a bug or what, but it was definately easy lol*

Glzmo was a great visionary. Perhaps SOE should have listened to him instead of rebuilding everything all the time.

I'd say go Havok for the dialogue and easy access to the Black Suns missions. Believe me, that old geezer is a PAIN if you have to do all the clicking through.

As an aside, for most interesting dialogue, Imperial Inquisition is probably the winner, in my opinion (though BE is fairly interesting) ... but who would people say is best of Freelancer?
