Yeah, my husband has this problem. All of my pets appear to be growing "normally" (some are actually growing more quickly than normal) but he had one that didn't grow for three days.

I don't know guys, maybe I'm nuts, but not quite a month ago I had just started cranking through CH, and caught a number of babies. I logged, didn't play for the entire week, and when i got back on the next weekend i noticed how much my baby HAD grown! Since then, i've been keeping half an eye on my pet-growth, and they've been most certainly been growing.
A few offhand that i know are included in this "working" status are a grand wrix, a carrion splat, a swamp humbaa, and a giant beetle (i think that's what it's called - some new big-arse bug on Tatooine)
No doubt this could be a bug, but it's definitely not accross-the-board. Perhaps it's similar to the calling-pets-in/out-of-town/camp issue, in that some folks have the problem, and some dont?

I have two different characters with some newly tamed/trained pets and they are growing. The only issue is they are growing slower than they usually would.
In the past from the time I log out to go to bed then get back the next day after work 90% of the time my pets would get 2 growth cycles (~20hours). Now I get 1 at most, sometimes none.. this is for pets such as Graul Mauler, GSPx2, Cowardly Gurreck, Carrion Spatx2 and Baggarset.
I dunno, I think they're growing quite fast.
I tamed a Gaping Spider hunter, CL2 on Saturday night. Sunday afternoon it was CL8.
It could be that it does scale depending on how often you log in (and 'check on your pets'). Maybe that's on purpose, so you can take advantage of having lower level variants of your pets out for more CH grinding xp. Maybe they're trying to cater to the casual gamer more, rather than the power-gamer whose pets will grow up in just a few days...

Pets might be growing fast for the regular "daily" player, I'm not sure. Sounds like it from the feedback.
In regards to gaining CH xp, the full grown cu-pa is the best pet for that, no matter how far along the CH path you are. I am a casual gamer, and this bug is irritating to me because I don't need baby pets since I'm a MCH already and don't need the xp. I need adult pets, and they only grow about 1-2 cycles for each time I call the pet out. I don't log inthat often, maybe once per week.
Thus I am stuck with very young pets for several months. (ie. its been 2 months and my pets from the beginning of the thread are just now adults)
It would be great if a Dev would either tell us this was a stealth nerf 2 months ago, or it's a 2 month old bug that they know of and will get to sometime within the life-span of the game. I know it's low priority so I know it will probably never be fixed.
Issues like the melon count for starter characters is far more important and should be addressed immediately.
It used to be that you didnt have to log in each day for a pet to grow in the datapad.
It was changed on purpose so that in order for the pet to grow, you had to log in. If you dont log in for a month, then when you do log in, there will be little change in the growth.
hence this is NOT A BUG
you can find the info in the patch notes and it has been this way for a long time now

It also speeds things up if you actually take it out and use it. I've noticed, more recently, if I just take my babies out to run with me and fight some they grow almost 2x's faster than those left in datapad.
I was offline for about a week
You have to be logged in for them to grow....

are you saying you want the animals to grow and advance through no effort of the CH at all?

NP I'll just waste your and mine bandwidth using the old AFK sampling macro I had to use when pets would not heal when you we logged out.
COME ON think about it, if you require peeps to be logged in for x to happen then you are wasting everyones bandwidth.......
