Hello. My name is Maisland and I am a Baby Taming Addict.
Lol I will second that.
My name is Dirtnap and I have a baby taming problem.

Who has room on their datapad for all that taming? Sheesh. I've already gotten rid of 5 old pets to make room for new ones. I keep finding pets with new abilities. What am I supposed to do? I'm afraid to tame anymore because I'm afraid it will have a new ability, and I'll have to get rid of another pet. Curse the bad luck that I can only find babies with special abilities.
I had my alt (on Eclipse) respec to CH 0/4/0/0 and have stored most of my old beloved pets on her. I now only have 4 or 5 "keepers" on my main and have plenty of room to tame and train new babies.
We really need more pet storage though.

THAT is a huge problem. What to do with the tames. And then there's the issue of who leaves to make room for these new pets with their "free" special abilities
There are some pets that, even though they're battered and bruised, are simply not on the table for being taken off the datapad.
I've replacedtwo old pets who were there mainly because they were cool (a fambaa and a fierce piket protector) with new ones with ablitites. They weren't sentimental tames.
But my oldest pet, my GSP Butch, even though he's 90/100 now, isn't going away. Nor is my dewback, Huey, trained as a mount on mount publish day. Then I've got another GSP and my gaping spider hunter who that were given to me by a friend who since left the game for safekeeping when she dropped CH. She might come back, and it would thrill her no end to see her children again. My rancor was a gift from another friend who since has left the game, so I won't consider replacing him. I'm too attached to my gurreck to even think about replacing him...he's got a unique coloration that is no longer found, and the circumstances of the tame make him a sentimental keeper.
I may replace existing skins with new ones with their own inate specials, already took my bull ronto off the datapad in anticipation of taming a new one, and my lowland salt mynock, to make room for temp pets to teach me new skills. Eventually I'll find another bull ronto and perhaps a sulfer mynock to replace the lowland salt.
Real shame some of the pets I had pre-CU that were ultra-special(GSP's for instance) are now nearly usless against high-end content. Even high-level pets can't hold their own aginst some NPC/MOB's
Had the same problem.
I always ended up having max pets in my datapad. NO MATTER WHAT. And then after a while, when I found one that I might have really wanted - I couldn't release any of the ones I had. Got kinda attached I suppose.
/shrug.
Now I can't use any of them except for my level 10 cu-pa. I dropped CH. ![]()
I was annoying because I was always running off to sample DNA now I am twice as annoying as I not only am addicted to sampling but I MUST tame babies as well.
Hello...my name is...
I was heading to the DWB to meet some guildies when I came across a baby. I truned back to tame it. Right after I finished (no special) I got a tell asking where I was. I was too embarassed to admit I stopped to tame while they're all waiting for me, so I told them my computer crashed.
Was that wrong?
