I have a Monty Python and Dune fixation, some of mine are

Monty (GSP), Python(GSP).

Sir-Robin(Rancor).

Duncan Idaho(BE Razor cat).

Gurney Halleck(BE Gurreck).

Stilgar(Gurreck).

Keyser Soze(Prowling Gurreck).

Lister, Rimmer, Kryten, Holly, Kat.(Arachne and Merek selection all tamed within 2 days of one another ages ago).

Nemesis(Screecher). This was because the git took me 4 months to find, then me and a mate found 2 from same lair,thank god I got to play with her before CU.

Have 21 pets in all but most are named because ofFilm or TV references

And named my Lvl 65 Varactyl, Boga(hehe there's one for the real Star Wars nuts).

Though the initials thing was unknown to me, I knew Elphaba from the show, Wicked.

Also, my Varactyl mount is named Kirath, which is a name I am pretty sure I made up, hehe, it is also the name of my Guardian in eq2.

I am not even going to start... too many. Like I said i have tamed alot and I ALWAYS make sure they have the perfect name.... Ill just name a couple lol

my Great plains stalker is named Edge because he was my edge in battle my main companion and my favorite trophie. Also because of a razor cat. the name razor cat from its razor sharp edges.. kinda fit him if you know what i mean.

My wild dune boar is named Torque... It just came to me one day when He sprinted after a rebel scum. He had alot of torque and it fit him cause he is like a pig.

My malignant squill is name Kip I still dont know why but He was goofy looking and scrawny. I named him before napolean dynamite which is funny. He was also very energetic and a pain so the name kinda just fit him.

My level 1(0) blurrg is named Axel I just like the name, and it fits a blurrg.

MY frenzied grual is named Chaos cause he is a big frenzied grual lol

I tamed 2 of the only giant mawgax I knew about in my server and named them Alpha and Omega I gave away alphaand kept omega.. which is the one i tamed first. A friend holds him.

I named my bull rancor Rusty... That one I have no reason just came to me.

My gleaming lanturn bird was named moonbeam... A friend holds him now..

Myth and legend are my swamp stalkers and Fable is my plains hunter.

My giant peko is Aero.. because he was like a big tornado.. not anymore now he is slow and lame.

My prowling gurreck is named Nanaki from FF7 cause i love that game and he is one of my favs.. My kinad baz nitch is named T-Bone my veractyl is named Oscar.. My screecher is named Crobar my langlatch marauder is named Sticks(I used ot have stones too they where like 2 peas in a pod) My desert Vesp is named Blitz My torton is named Ted cause he is big and a turtle.. my enraged flier was named Shuriken I released him, my thune grassland guardian is named Thorton my merek deaths head is named reaper my arachne widow is named Agony and my arachne queen is named Coldera.

plenty morefrom the old days but to rap it up my Gaping Spider queen is named Yzma cause she is ugly beyond all reason.
