Why not work together with a Bio-Engineer on your own server and make some money? The Bio-Engineer could make decent HAM CL10 pets (4Kish is enough) and you could grow, train, mount and sell them? Once people know you can supply a ready trained, mounted BE pet word will get round.
I can make CL10 pets but everyone keeps asking me to mount them and I just say "Find a Creature Handler..."
I'd love to be a CH/BE but I need some weird stuff as a BE (Scaley Hide, Avian Bone, etc.) and sometimes running out into the wilderness with a BIG GUN is the only thing that works
I sell non-CH Bantha deeds for 20K (and people think that's cheap). I sell CL12 Bantha deeds for just 12K. My 'real' customers are my CHs, not Mr. FOTM "gimme a non-CH 10K HAM Heavy Poison/Disease pet - oh, and can ya get armour on that?". I'm hoping enough of you guys stay around to keep BE pet makers in business come the big CB *sighs*
There's a market out there already - just cash in! I'm sure there are plenty of BEs who'll be willing to work with you.

I am in full support of standardized pricing on training. The Doc’s have standardized pricing on buffing. Dancers and Musicians are starting to standardize their pricing on buffs. Market conditions help standardize other products in the SWG universe. We as a profession need to stop caving in to peer pressure and charge a fair price for our valuable services. If a person is not receptive to that price politely thank them for their interest and go on about your daily business. /tiphat

Kreetle....Nuna.....it all good....(have one little memory laps and the whole thread goes to pot. lol)
Okay, I didn't get my taming cloths till I was 1-1-1-1
I did my first tame at 1001
I used a be level 11 gurrcat on tattoine for first 2 boxes.
I just checked with a friend of mine, and it was Nuna that I was giving to people with out the attack command, that was my mistake.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.....
uh...you guys ain't gonna punish me for this, are ya?

It wasn't a stupidly high price and i do stick to the market price on chimera which is around 5k atm for a dewback or any other mountable pet for that matter .. some of the older pets mounted can go for 10k if its full grown ie bantha etc so im sure my price was fair.

I wouldn't train or give away a pet free unless the person was exceptionally nice or was a close friend. I gave away a krackbou recently to a newbie though, but I was feeling generous.
When I first wanted my Spat trained as a mount, I searched, found a CH, asked her how much, she said 5K for training as a mount (no other commands and I had the pet already), and I said no problem, here you go

For every 10 jerkoffs that I meet, theres always that one person who makes mewant to stay. There was a new guy (a returning player from launch), and I spent some time talking to him about the goings-on of the game in its current state for a while. Also made him a reinforced staff to get started with. Well, long story short, the guy came back several days later and tipped me 100k. That same day, he asked me to build him a swoop. I said no problem (obviously) and he refused to take it as a freebie. So yeah, good people are out there, just gotta look hard.

This is the biggest reason I don't have my MCH tag turned on in the game. It's annoying and insulting to think I'm going to just GIVE you something because you want it....well my alt (TKM) wants a free set of (90%) composite too. "Tell you what (speaking to the moron in game), you give me your uber armor and I'll give you a pet." That usually turns them off everytime, sometimes they get rude and I just /addignore XXXX them.

Do what the weaponsmiths do. Tell people outrageous stories. You will be shocked by what people will beleive. Tell people stuff like they will need to take that pet you gave them to get vaccinated by master doc or it will die in a couple days. Another good one is to give a person two identical pets, and tell them in a few days they will get babies they can give to their friends. Tell them they will need to get a pet maintanance kit for their data pad otherwise the pet will come down with bumblefoot, and wont be able to fight. give them a bird and tell them to remember to give the eggs it lays to a chef. Tell them that they will need to milk that pet daily.
The number one favorite of mine. Is to fully train a pet with farfetched commands. Stuff like me chinese, and imsick, and canuspare acredit. You just gotta be cool about it. Telling a beggar not to beg dosent work, because too many people feed them. Makeing them look idiotic is great though. No reason to get down about beggars just give them rotten service. After all its not the fact that we arent getting much that bothers us its the selfishness and the lack of effort by others.
If you cannot get some appreication from someone then playing a practical joke atleast will put a smile on your face.
Um that kreetle joke wont work though. Trust me I tried that you cannot trade it to a non ch. Infact you cannot even trade it to a novice ch. Its way to viscious. Though what would be funny is if a bh can bioengineer up a level 40 one with strong poison or strong disease then duel someone with it. Would be worth a laugh seeing some noob being eaten alive by a kreetle.
