Thread: PETITION: To Add More Creature Storage Space
I'm all for more creature storing space.

Absolutely. Anyone that says we don't need it, is a part time CH. If you are going CH as a 'side' profession, and you make your money another way... GOOD FOR YOU!!! We, as MCH's use our taming abil's to make our money.
With the super krayt-sized-HAM lairs now, it's even more important that we can 'farm' a great deal of pets to sell, as well as have room for any of the pets we want to use.
Two things: I agree that maybe a MCH should be the only one to do this. This will weed out all the weekend-ch's. Second, I think that the extended storage should come with droids only. 16 max in the datapad. Storage is limited to the number of droids you want to keep. This will also help the almost worthless droid professions.

I think you guys are missing the fact that everyone "signing" this is doing just that-- whining. You are all whining that you don't have enough storage space. I'm doing just the opposite-- saying that the amount of storage we have is perfectly fine.

I'll break this one down:
1) "Let the devs make the game fun"
Well, you guys are obviously trying to instruct the devs on what to do, what am I doing different?
2) if you feel that Creature Handler is a powerful class then play it but don't just run around and say that a class is too powerful. I am really tired of hearing that.
Are you people incapable of reading my posts? I've said TWICE that I'm a Creature Handler. TWICE
Did it occur to anyone that maybe CH was not intended to be a "Money making" profession? Not all professions are meant to make money (Ranger? Squad Leader?). I'm sure 99% of creature handlers also have some combat skills, the other 1% being entertainers that want a pet hanging around by them that is above level 15. Even if you do think CH is a merchant profession, I have yet to see a valid reason why 16 slots isn't enough. If you're saying CH is the only way you can make money, you wouldn't have any combat skills (Because ANY creature handler with a tier 3 marksman skill can go do 10k credit missions on Lok for money), so you wouldn't be using CH skills in combat, so then you've got all 16 slots for two things: Personal pets to look at (That is not meant sarcastically, I've got one), mount(s) (In the future), and pets for selling. If you're saying selling creatures is your only source of income, you're full of crap. And if you aren't full of crap, then you have a ton of credits that you haven't done anything with, and that is why you aren't making money.
It would be more realistic to say chs are one of the best pve classes second only to those of the imperium with at sts... In pvp chs that are pure ch will go down to the smuggler/pistoleer-bh combos everytime . then while you lay there you can watch them suppression fire/any other shot , panic/any other shot combo your pet while he doesnt even attack back.. Ive been on both sides of this and really all pets do is distract the new guys , anyone who pvps will tell you chs arent the class they are most worried about.
Im master ch and only 0/3/1/2 in bounty hunter and i do about 5x as much damage per battle as both of my pets put together regardless of the pet combo i use. Pet1 hits , pet 2 hits , i shoot for 5k ..
Just out of curiosity-- if you don't have CH for combat, and you have no other combat skills, why are you getting involved with combat?
I'd also like to see what you all define as "whining", because if anyone in here is whining, it's you guys, not me. I wouldn't consider this petition whining, but if you consider what I'm doing whining, then what you guys are doing is throwing a tantrum

Bah, I only have 6 slots to store creatures in and it's more than enough. Why would you need more than 16? You could have 3 low levels out, or 2 mid levels, or one high level, that means you would have a MAX of 6 for combat, then what would you do with the other 10? You could have 1 for a mount in the future, that leaves 9. You could have 5 for selling (They don't go THAT fast..), and 4 just cutesy pets. What do you need more for, exactly? Right now I've got 2 for combat (Depending on my mood, I'll use one or the other), a Ronto for when mounts are implemented, and a Kinklik because he looks cool. Then I'll tame rock beetles when I see them, so I can *give* them away to non-CHs, and I've never used my 6th slot.

If you have not noticed our pets have different resists and abilities making them good and bad in different situations. Comments like "3 low levels out, or 2 mid levels; or one high level" shows your lack of understanding of the game. Do you use the same weapon in every situation or spam the same attack over and over? Hopefully not.
No. If you'd read all my posts, you'd see that I mentioned having 10 different pets, one for each resist. No one has answered my questions about how CH could possibly be your only source of income. Unless of course you are suggesting that we need 3 low levels for each damage type, 2 mid levels, and one strong for each type, then we'd need 60 slots. But if you actually think you need that, you're probably a moron.
