most of you know by now that im back on the hunt. after what happened super bowl sunday i took 3 days off from dathomir and rares completely and feel much better. i started back up wednesday morning and my official count is 29 days, 111 lairs.


i will get one...

good luck on the Bull Rancor babies someday ill be able to join on the hunt for them, but i got alot of XP left to get in my CH.

Going after super rares is a hunt not meant for everybody because they take a lot of time and commitment to get them. The bull rancor is prized because of its plague stike that hits u with 250 wound dmg per hit and can hit any of three categories. It incaps in less than 2 min, faster if you are not at full health. This pet should be super rare with only the most committed creature handlers having.


And you mentioned that there are other things to do in the game. I am a creature handler first and everything else second so going after a Bull Rancor is something I do not mind spending the amount of time and resources to finding.

Just hit the 150th lair and still no baby.


The only thing I am getting so far is 18k per mission.I am going to need a money bin soon.

as exciting as the bull rancor is with its pluage strike and its large sizeetc. its just not worth it for the rate at which they spawn babies. Of course this is only my opinion, and it will most likely fall uponpowergamersin maniacal states of mind. I mean beastmasters... lol. Whatever the devs introduce ie rare babies or very rare spawns or perhaps impossible rare spawns or even insanely futile babies....its only to hold your interest for a period of time it is not necessarly meant for you to stay up for days and days hours and hours search and pulling liar after liar after liar....(infinity) till you get that insanely impossible spawn that isnt there so that it is part of your "collection" there are other things in this game to do or maybe in life but that of course is another subject on the game though perhaps try doing something with your precious animals like tanking a turret reb or imp or kill somethin after all we are not really supposed to bezoo keepers or currators.

Up to 173 lairs


I found an unusual one last night. It was a static bull spawn with one bull, one rancor, and one youth. At first I thought I had stumbled on someone's mission that they abandoned but as I took out first spawn another automatically spawned behind it. I dont know how unusual this type of spawn is but ended up lasting 6 spawns before exhausting and still no bull baby.


I did take a break from the bull hunt to go to Endor andgot another Widow. I also searched Merrik lairs and found several deathsheadlairs but no baby.


I did score last night though in the purchase of a sweet kimo. Level 68, 570 dmg with strong disease with awsome HAM and resists. So now I have two kimos over level 65 with 570 dmg.


All I can say about the Bull hunt is that the lairs pay very well and that alone keeps me coming back. But this is just wrong to take down as many lairs as I have and not have a baby tame chance.

Sign my petition for making more static spawns and for paid missions having 6 bulls instead of just 3.

I did find recently a kwi packleader and am very impressed by it.


If anyone reads this and have tamed one, can you please state how you got it.
