Wow, 16 pages. I'm going to take a wildguess that there's still no response from the developers or moderators on this.
I'm fairly sure that as long as they have their award or whatever for having 275k users, that a hundred CHs here and there don't really make much of a ripple in their SWG pond. As long as we aren't making waves (like the thousands of people screaming for our blood not so long ago) then they most likely won't take notice. I wouldn't doubt that they see the word petition on a thread and mark it as read/ignored.
I suppose if you really want something to catch their attention, title the thread "EXPLOIT FOUND! DEVS HURRY!" or some such. 
I enjoy taming and such just for the sake of having cool/unique pets for me. Is the fun of CH. Nothing worse than having to release a favorite pet.

This coming from a droid engineer who probably sold a few Storage Droids to us...
Why is the arguement invalid? Pets are used to aid in attacking and defending....So are weapons. Pets are not there just to take up space. YEah...we sell them...But we also need a separate area to store our own pets.
If you notice in your inventory, you have 60 slots to store items, plus an equipped backpack. This makes for 110 slots to store stuff.
Non CH can store 2 pets, and only use 1. They can also store up to 110 weapons, and use one.
CH can store max 14-16 pets and use up to thier max, which correct me if I am wrong, 3 as long as they don't surpass the magic 60 CL.
14-16 may seem like a lot of pets to store...But if we are going to be selling the pets that we tame (Bio Engineers actually fall into this also, partially, will get deeper into that later) we need something separate from our personal slots to use in selling pets...The Droids with Storage compartments were perfect for this. It really wasn't a viable battle option anyway. We had to stop, pop put a camp, then pop out the droid, find the pet we wanted, transfer it to our data pad, then call it, then put the droid away. It was wrong to take them away from us.
I took CH so I can have more slots to sell trained bio engineered pets...It's nice to be able to store as many untamed Bioed pets as my inventory allows, but they are pretty useless if I don't have extra space to tame and train them. If I can't do that service, they have to take the untamed pet to another CH...WHich, don't get me wrong is nice, but finding a CH that is WILLING to tame (no xp) and train a pet is tough, expecially when certain CHs will make fun of Bio Engineered pets, and say they are not as good as wild pets. While yes, that is true....for now, you don't need to ruin a BE's reputation over it. If this were the real world, this would be a lawsuit. You can't go around saying that company A's product is crap, buy mine. Not sure of the exact legal term...but it's similar to Defamation of Character.
Yeah, I will admit, there are a lot of BE pets that have better wild counterparts, but stop bashing our products.
This was brought on by a certain CH on Tempest that was making comments towards BE pets in this nature.
Not going to mention his name, because that's bad form. He worked hard to be the jackass...err level he is at.
Has a dev even seen this yet... probably not! Probably listening to all the nerf criers instead.
Yea like any profession ur gun wears out u pull out another, ch well u can only do it 16 times while other professions can do it 100 tiems, wiht a backpack, and aslo
