As far as I know, Bull Rancor babies are the highest CL pet that can be tamed in the wild (CL65). However, these are apparently the Holy Grail of wild pets, because some MCH have been searching for a Bull Rancor baby for *months* with zero luck. The next highest CL wild pet is an arachne queen at CL58... and those are almost as rare.


What I want to know is this: are Master Creature Handlers *supposed* to be getting 99.9% of all CL60-70 pets from Bio Engineers? There sure aren't any high level pets in the wild that a Master Creature Handler can tame; the highest ones (there are only 2 or 3) are so rare that people are actually afraid to use them in combat, because after they lose enough vitality their stats will drop and they are extraordinarily difficult to replace, if not impossible. Why bother giving Master Creature Handlers a max pet level of 70, if they cannot tame pets of that level in the wild, and they must have a Bio Engineer craft a genetic monstrosity instead?


If they want Creature Handlers to get involved in any sort of PvP content, they need to add some more useful creatures to the list... of course, after the Mythical Combat Revamp, most combat classes will probably no longer be able to solo an Enraged Rancor lair and all the other agros they picked up while running up to Area Attack the lair just to walk away from the whole thing at full HAM.
