Untrue. You do not have to go into the Hunting grounds.

The Varactyl you have to kill to get to the Egg is in Kachiro. This is a 10 minute quest, if that...

I'm in the same boat sorta. The Bantha quest takes place sorta in the "locked" hunting grounds and I suck at space combat so I can't get in either.

But yes, the CL65 Varactyl quest is only for the Digital Download people. Sorry.

Why the hell aren't I alloud to do it with the Total Experience? Wait... I know... It's because DEV's don't give a rats ass about CH to even fix the varactyl's animation, let allone actually fix a quest.

Actually, the fact you can't get the varactyl isa marketing thing. Some people (including my main account, non-CH) got the DD 2 weeks first. We knew we would be getting the level 10 varactyl mount. We paid for that. Now, how do you think people that spent $25 for this product would feel if everyone else can get a better (level 65) varactyl? Then he would be complaining about not getting a better barc through a mission, because that is what TE got. It's all about marketing.

Well, considering it's the Master Creature Handler specific "weapon", it should be available by any MCH. All of the quested weapons in the RotW expansion that are Master level specific are available by anyone with the expansion. Why should our "Master weapon" be any different?

Because, we CHs are getting bent over, repeatidly by the Devs.

i'd like to know the devs' logic toward not supplying kashyyyk with babies.

usually a solid reason can be deduced (not "the devs hate CH"), but i'm just not seeing this one, especially with most animals well below CL80.

there certainly can't be continuity or contextual issues, as most guild halls seem better fit for EQ or WOW, lately, decorated with all of the 'mystical' loot flowing outward from that planet.

I figured how to make CL10 pets with Fambaa DNA, but I bet it's possible with Varactyl DNA. Might not mean much to the buyer, but a BE's gotta pride themself on quality.

so whats the final verdict? do you have to have the DD and/or be a MCH to get this quest? i talked to the guy but he didn't give me anything either

Yes, you must be a MCH AND have the digital download.
