Personally, I can see this going one of two ways..
First, and most likely way, is that the dwindling non-ch mount population will shortly become extinct, I mean, as If mounts we'rent virtually useless already, they're now even hardy to get??
Seconldy, more unlikely, but my personal hope, is with the new specials, a fully matured lvl 10 mount, will again become a good virtual friend of its master, and with the right specials, will become viable again as It may not just die instantly as soon as you come accross a Red Con, and could actually be useful as an added bonus in a fight?? Also, could become good income to a CH if charging around 50k per mount?
personally, I hope for the second option,. I'm hoping the Pub 21 has brought more interest into the non-ch pet market. perhaps ppl could go back to having a mount and a fighter in their datapad (as a non ch).
On another note, I think it would be great if non-ch could have a mount and a CL10 fighting cat/pet/whatever out at the same time? this feature wouldnt make the CH redundant, as CH too could perhaps have a 'free' CL10 mount called as well as thier 3 beloved fighters? what do you guys think?
EDIT: on the second point, can this actually be the case? I can't remeber what the exact wording was, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that if a pet as matured by one master, something in relation to the specials doesnt carry over to the new master?? could anyone clarify this? as it could make my second point moot!
