I was hunting carnivore meat on Endor and the very first mission I took for mantigrue screechers spawned a baby for me. Ok, so its notthe elusive bull rancor, but I wasn't expecting or really looking for it, so I'm happy.

Only other rares I really want right now are the arachne widow and of course the bull rancor. As I posted in another thread I spawned 2 arachne widow babies before I could tame them, so my chances of spawning another any time soon are probably rather slim..hehe. Ah well, the search is on!

At least you could tame it. I am working my way up ch (again). I was on Dath grinding unarmaed xp and came across a random rancor lair with engraged rancors. Not just one, but two, bull rancor babies spawned with some adults AND I HAD TO KILL THEM!!!!

because I couldn't tame them yet. Wanted to cry

Love those screechers... particularly just giving them the Stay command every now and then to make them howl.

Congratz! I haven't caught a Screecher Myself, I have a GPS though, My Pride and Joy, Keep up the Searching! The Hunt and Tame is also the most rewarding part of being a Creature Handler IMHO.

Congrats on the tame

At least you knew it was rare and not like me, i tamed one sometime last year, trained the little blighter for xp and let it go!! LOL
