My cat does this weird thing where they get right infront of the thing they're attacking, and just moveforward and backward(I think that's what you're talking about) The weird thing is, when my cat does this, he gets POUNDED more so than he did before he started doing this junk.

Very annoying.

I never really noticed this lunging thing you were talking about until last night. I had 2 of my cats out, and sent them both to attack. One went straight in, the other did the lunging thing... When I saw that, I realized I had seen that happen before with my pets. What's worked for me a couple of times is calling them back to me, using the follow command, then send them to attack again. It works sometimes, but not always.

I find this annoying, but, it'slittle better then when they used to run circles around their target... which was standing still at the time, attacking me!!
