Hehe maybe this guy didn't realize that it's not that banthas can't be mounted AT ALL, it's that BE'd CL10s/Non-CH banthas made by BEs are smaller than wild ones and will never get large enough to be mountable at CL10. If the guy he is referring to is a CH, he probably has a bantha that is higher than CL10 that he is able to mount because it gets bigger.
Either way, I think in general most Non-CHs (and even some CHs coming backat first)don't understand what it takes nowadays to get a mount, and how hard it is (and taxing on datapad space) for CHs to burden. It's hard saying no to Non-CHs on this for me because I was a CH in the "old days" when pets grew over time in the datapad and mounting a Non-CH pet was nothing... but now I just don't do it or charge big bucks to do it because it takes away from my time and my datapad space. I'm limited enough as it is since I'm gathering pets to learn the new abilities- I just don't have time or space to level every Non-CH's CL10 on the server for them

Anyway, sorry to hear about the harsh treatment you received. Seems to me like they need to be a bit more understanding of where WE are coming from on this- it's not as simple as it used to be, and I guarantee they'd not be doing it for 1k if they were in your shoes and saw what it took!
