The greatest irony for me was the Droid Invasion. The DE cried most for our nerf. They cried about a Combat Droid only profession and got months of workup for some pretty meaningless droids.

I hope the CM's rot in the Sarlacc Pit.

Lol rot in the sarlac they will...

Do you think they would bring CH back up to par if we only had enough skill points left over that we couldn't master another combat profession? I think as long as we can do two that can be used together, they will keep us as a support profession.

I don't know why the DEV's had a problem with the CM's throwing their crap 64+ meters nothing but net. lol

DIE CM's DIE.

I like it, but dobt they will drop the proffession, but should drop the ranged defenses. They should be the lazer magnets they were meant to be.

They can be compensated with 110% melee defenses for Jedi fighting.

I know some of you are thinking that they will still be able to take down an enraged rancor in less than 10 seconds... wrong, they should be changed to ap2-3 and damage type should be: "ass clentching terror" There are no resists for this, the only defense is stay home.

Just a thought guys, But all the melee professions were wiped out at some point. Most of the people running around with melee weapons are "ceremonial" that means they are window dressing.

Gamoreans with their vibro lances died, Jedi were run into hiding and almost extinction, TKM, you know about. Swordsman? give me a break, I see a swordsman at 60 meters and I have a blaster, it is going to be one dead swordsman, I thought people had figured that out when the middle ages they discovered the long bow.

Anyway, I feel sorry for CM, about as sorry as Jabba felt for all those people he fed to the Sarlacc. YEAH DIE CM, you nerf screaming bunch of woosies.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

Talon,

They are crying worse than we did. Maybe if all the professions get nerfed, oh oh I mean combat balanced, then the howls of outrage will finally get someone's attention who will hand out some pink slips to the people most responsible, bye bye TH, JustG, Blackmann etc.

We can all hope so.

Oh the new CH prayer,

I'm a CH, I can die, if I have to.

I understand why the merchant nerf was backed off but it still torks me. If the combat rebalance had taken place way back when it was supposed to would the devs have to be putting bandaids in place now? armor and buffs, these 2 points alone,if corrected would put a hurt on solo missions, this would take millions from the economy. less money, less merchandise. Now things are out of hand and its bandaid time again. This piecing out "fixes" isnt making the game better. To make the game better the devs need to shut up or put up. put the combat balance in place, make the game a challange again then step back and see what needs to be adjusted. Ch nerf, bah, We may have needed an adjustment but to delay the rest of the fix was and is wrong. They are just doing the same old knee jerk bandaid crap to keep players semi happy till there 1st person space shooter goes live. Wonder what the excuse will be then ?

Supply and Demand.

If buffs and armor is nerfed, there will be no more 31k Mokk missions being run in 30 seconds. Fighters won't be able to pay for all of the good weapons/food/whatever and the demand will go down. The price with it.

Don't get me wrong I am not crying for them. Just disgusted that all the devs know how to do is swing a HUGE nerf bat to "rebalance" things.

What they really need to do is scrap combat and start over. They kept putting in quick fixes (takeing mind healing out of stims so MD's wouldn't be invincible) that lead to this mess.

As for me I am sitting back with my little rancor looking at the CM and thinking.
"I can kick his ass now "

Wow. Some of the things CM are saying about being made worthless, etc. are exactly the same things we CH said. The difference being is that I don't see that CM hasbeen made totally worthless in PvP. I know if I were a CM, I'd certainly beunhappy, but CM can still play a very valuable role in PvP. And while their poison attacks are not aspowerful as they were, it still seems like a dangerous weapon to me.

Lets not forget that CHwas over powered anddid needsome "balancing". The problem was how the Devs "balanced" CH -to say thattheir approach was draconian is a gross understatement.I've onlybeen in one group (rather large group) PvPencounter, but I saw first hand just how ridiculously devastating CM was. If there hadn't been Docs aroundto heal/rez - on both sides -CM would have won the fight by themselves. The fact is, CM (as CH once did) needed some adjustments made. However, I don't see that the Devs have been unduly harsh, especially as compared to what happened to CH. No doubt CM don't see it that way, though.

CMs make me laugh. They don't understand that their poisons are meant as a support skill to help kill NPC's and PC's faster in a group, not be able to kill them solo. They make it sound like it's the end of the world to have to pick up a combat profession to balance it out. This is part of the reason the combat balance is severely needed, to get rid of this attitude of "Well I should be able to solo everything in the game using my poisons/power hammer/elite carbine/etc etc". The combat medic nerf was badly needed. They need to move on and get over it.

CMs will be needed again when the CB forces us to group. Area Heals.
