@Enigma:

How are you geting 6 spawns out of each lair resulting in 6 BRs per lair? I get the initial spawn, one after tap and one at half. Ive read about "milking" but just cant figure it out.

Tonite I got a groip of my guild together and we got difficulty 146 BR missions, as opposed to the 84-99 we were doing bf. Did about 12 missions, two static spawns, and saw plenty of rancor babies, but no BR babies, of course.

I am going to dath to see if this is true but here is why I think it is not.

1. Bull rancor babies and rancor babies are the same size making them easy to confuse with one another

2. The person posting this is not a master ch

3. No screenshots

1. Bull rancor babies are easy to spot when you're looking for babies in general. - If it has a yellow name in a sea of red, it tends to stand out.The easiest way totell a bull rancor babyfrom rancor babies by the addition of the word 'BULL' in their name.

2. What does me not being a master ch have to do with my ability to spot a baby or not? - If anything, the fact that i'm a CH at all makes more more alert to the spawning of babies, let alone the rare ones (a couple people in my group were confused as to why i was /cry'ing about seeing the babies that i couldn't tame)

3. I hardly think that a screenshot is required for this type of question. I am not here to brag,my apologiesif i came across that way,i'm here to ask if anyone had noticed an increase in spawns... Hoping that when i DO become an MCH i will not have to hunt for months to find one. Sorry, but in the middle of shouting not to kill the baby (there are people who pay good for the location of these) and trying to control my current pets, the last thing i was thinking was to press the print screen key.

6 Bull rancors can only be found in the statically spawned lairs. These are lairs that will just say pile of rocks but will have at least 1 Bull Rancor, 1 Rancor, and 1 youth Rancor.

The best static that i have come across is 2 youths, 2 rancors, 2 bulls, and 1 enrgaged Bull.

@GotEgg:

Do you happen to recall what the difficulty level of the missions you were doing when you witnessed the spawn of so many BR babies? I am trying to get a feel of how high the diff has to be to induce a spawn of one.

As I mentioned above, a trusted ranger/CH friend of mine who has spent hours helping me find a GPS on Corellia told me a similar story where he witnessed 5 BR babies spawn while in a large group on Dathmoir. He too was not high enuf to tame, not that he would have been able to stop the enraged horde of players at the time. The highest my guild group can get with about 6-8 people is 148 difficulty. When doing these 148 diff missions we did note larger starting spawns (1 BR, 1 youth, 2 regular rancors - as opposed to one of each), a lot more regular rancor babies (several from some of thelairs)and a lot moreteeth and bile ... we grabbed tons of it during this hunt.

Thanks in advance.

I believe they were in the 160ish range... I dont recall if the babies were all spawning from our missions, or the wild lairs we were taking out as we came across them either. Sorry i can't be of more help... it's been several days since we were out. I'll probably be heading out with almost the same group soon - I'll let you know the difficulty of missions and see if i spot more babies this time.
