Yes i forgot to mention that. Since I have sixty abilities learned i get alot of orders from chs. Though there are alot more novice chs now then there has been for a long time. Its an easy plus while leveling something else up to have pets applying states for you.

well thats understandable, i have 18 abilities and tend to swap pets around with guild ch's to learn the abilities we need, if i didnt have that luxury i would pay a ch to teach my pet an ability it needed.

Thus sets off page after page of responses. Halfof which are honest and true: "You must download the trial and see for yourself." Some are "sky is falling" responses. One or two suspect some trolling and question how the OP is able to post here. And the remainder latch on to one of the questions and debate the topic until flying pigs return carrying the wayward cows.

Many items that sell for good money like house items have no practical use, but they go for more money than a mount. Many people will argue that mounts do have a practical use, not many vehicles will go and knockdown someone that is firing at you, or snare them even.

NON CH mounts are rare people cant just go and get one themselves, they need a ch to spend time finding one, growing it and training it, and to cheapen this process buy selling them for under lets say 40k is daylight robbery.

(in my opinion)

Agree but other professions are chargeing surreal amounts no that are in no way connected with reality. I got some caseings scopes powercells stocks, and I found a 12 point weaponsmith without trying whoopee I can get some nice stuff made. He said he could do the order and I inquired as to the price he says 2million. Now a little mad monster in my head exploded out what is this guy jokeing I am giveing him 3 components for a rifle and 2 components for the pistol. I am paying for maybe 150 units of resources and his expertise. 2 million a gun I think. Wow I need to start jacking up my prices.

Needless to say I am passing on this weaponsmith there is a time for a little greed and I totally empathise but when your makeing someone pay 2million credits a gun a gun you only half have to make its gone way too far. My last laugh will be the loudest though I am a BH and I play hardcore 8 hours a day doing bh missions. So I am blocking his bidding on weapon components I sell enhanced power cells and reinforced caseings. Hopefully that will teach him not to gouge his fellow man as others get to snatch up my wares cheap right infront of him.

Your proffession canoffer an item that no other can,

To offer this item it takes (TIME) to construct, (TIME) to train and even (TIME) to find. It is worth more than 10k i am affraid.

Only the bored, insane and crazy would use a cl 10 pet in PvP, but i have a cl 10 cupa that does hit cl 80 plus creatures when grinding through lairs (be it not for much lol), its knockdowns and snares work on them too.

I have sold 5 mounts so far all for 100k or more so ill leave it at that and im sure many other creature handlers will continue to base their prices on the real value of lvl 10 pets.

When you reach master CH you charge what you feel necessary, but i gurantee when you get asked for lvl 10 non ch mount and you say yes ok 10k, then spend the next 3-4 hours finding them and leveling them up (min) you will realise that they are worth more.

I had some nice deal yesterday: Someone asked me for a mount for Kashyyyk. I said, the cheapest way would be a Kaadu (as I don't have to level it, when I use the pet trade-in) and I asked for 25k for a Kaadu. He was alright with that, but asked about fighting. I started explaining about abilities and he was very interested. In the end I could sell him a Cu'Pa for 150k (and I didn't even have to ask for that much, he offered this amount to me).

This wasn't the first time, most people are quite happy to find a CH. But you should always explain which benefits they can have with abilities.

BTW, a few hours before some CH asked me to search for a bull rancor- I had mine pulled out at that time. He offered me 40k. When I started to explain, how long it might take to get a bull rancor and I would surely not do it for such a small amount, he asked me to sell my bull rancor to him. I said, he is not for sale. The guy offered a BARC Speeder for the rancor.

I refused the offer.

So far I have sold 3 CL10 mounts, each for 300k, no questions asked, no fuss (400k minimum for a bantha, I have spent over 6 hours trying to find a CL10 baby, without success so far)
I have also met a CH selling carrion spats for 10k.
Obviously he enjoys running around on empty planets trying to find a spawn way more than me, but hey, more power to him.

To me a mount is a luxury, especially one tailored with ordered abilities, unlike a bike, which are a dime a dozen.

Hey, compare to RL (bad no-no, I know) ... how many people do you know who own a car, and how many with a horse/lion/elephant/unicorn?

/priceCheck

175k for a fully trained, mounted, named, specialed NonCH L10 mount

Not the first thread on this - check back a few weeks and you'll find several. Two main brackets - those that charge <50k and just want to get people mounts. Those that charge >200k because of the time involved.

I would likely charge a hefty price for any mountwhich has specials that are particularly useful in PvP. Once the call timer gets removed, I expect to see a lot more animals being used in the GCW.
