I did 5 or so BH missions last night, only encountered one boss, I think CL81 with 18k health, had no problem taking him down with my kimo (CL70, stats before abilities 9k health, 385 max damage, abilities Thick Skin L3, Vig. Health L3, Lightning Reflexes L2, Aggression L1), an elite CL82 mark was a bit harder, but still doable.
What I did notice was that I kept missing quite a bit more often than before Pub24.

Then I met two guildies, one of them a squadleader, and we tried to take on a giant canyon krayt. We got him down to 15k health (from 35k I believe) but had a really hard time getting him lower because of his health regen.
And after a 15-20 min fight, he finally managed to incap my pet which I couldn't heal due to this strange (new?) healing bug telling me my pet is not a valid PvP target when trying to use Bacta Toss.

So I have to say this is definitely no anti-ch-patch, since everyone is affected (and if anything, it is a pro-ch-patch, without my pet holding the aggro from the krayt for 20 min, we would have been dead in 30 sec).
I will try to find a 32k health BH mark, and get back to you.

I just encountered a Boss mark with 36450 health, but I won't take it as an example, it was of the bugged variety doing 10 damage once a minute and took all of 2 minutes to take down. Loot was appropriate to time used, not level or health, unfortunately.

There are several varieties of boss marks around, those with below 20k health are really easy, the problem lies in some of those with more than 30k health, apparently some of them can regain 500 health a second while doing 1000 damage per shot.

Thank you mailo. I have faced a few more of these marks and some are like level 78s and they to have the godsmack super regen. I just think the devs have totally forgotten all tanking templates in putting this in it seems totally oriented towards full offense fighters.

Needless to say I did today the only thing I can think of to show my dissatisfaction with the current situation. I cancelled my two accounts and cancelled my preorder. The only way you can make soe see reason is to take what they treasure most your money elsewhere. Chances are this will probabally mean that I will not be able to do mustafar with the pre req groups and thus will not be able to taste the glory of level 80 ch pets. Which in all likelihood means come the 25th I am gone forever.

Sigh.

I think I just had one of "your" boss marks.
34.5k health, and sending both my pet and a probot at it, it regenerated health.
The pet was my Kimo, damage 92-374, it hit for 105 consistently every second, and the probot added 65 roughly every 2 seconds.
My Kimo (BE CL70, armor 4696, def 170, trained Thick Skin L3, Lightning Reflexes L2) was hit for 330-370.

When I started firing though, I had no problems taking it down, granted, it took a bit (almost exactly 10 minutes), but as my Kimo never lost aggro, I could heal it at will.

yes, i think they are increasing the difficulty of boss mobs generally, to take solo players out basically. I hear in the next patch you will have to group to buy a drink in the cantina.

Poor little old me I have tosolo 80 percent of my content just aint enough peopple on during weekdays. Unfortunately for me none of my pets have aggression on them, and quite frankly I think they should have to have aggression. I want my pets to be effective fighters and able to do a dual role pvp/pve. Sigh what else can be said 100percent retarded.

I really suggest you try to get hold of aggression, the Kimo above has Aggression L1, and not even once was I hit by the mark. Also a droid with a combat and medical module helps if you have trouble keeping your pet alive.

Oh I got the skill I just have no clue why it must be mandatory to me putting it on a pet I am trying to make stronger is a waste since it only applies to pve. It dosent matter anyway my account expire is four days. I highly doubt I will come back either. There is just no point in the end if I end up being 3 or 4 months behind everyone else and still cant do the content on mustafar with anybody.

I have up BH a few days ago, not because of the mark change, because of the loot, I have tons of triggers assemblies, cores, BH armor, mandalorian, etc. The other day I looked at the market and it was saturated with the stuff, hundreds of pieces hehe. Prices on a intraframe varied from 20k to 300k up hehe. The loot was so repetitive, I don't miss it at all, going back to my old TKA/DOC template with the BH Char because I miss the in your face solo combat (PVE)....no respec, grinding again hehe. Bottom line is though, I don't worry what other people are doing are how far ahead they are, I just do my own solo thing. Sometimes I don't see a town for several weeks at a time , especially with the MCH. On a recent trip to Dathomir to level mite soldiers, I netted 248k of hide, that hide sold for 5 million yesterday @20 cpu, pet levelling can pay if you take the time to harvest and smell the roses. Spoke with a young lady in Mos Eisley that has tried for a long time to get a dwarf bantha mount. Took me 5 hours but I found a nest and milked 8 of them out of it. Trained one for her and she was estatic. That's very satisfying for me to do something like that. There is "always" something else to do . If I am in a slump I'll take the master Imp pilot or Master RSF pilot into space for some combat or mining...

Just play the game......do your thing....be happy with what you are doing, if not then leave, and I guess you are doing that. There was some good aggro info and droid infoon a prior post, and you could use that to get your mark as other people are doing.....so I don't understand the problem, other than keeping up with the Joneses. I do know that the BH community was complaining the marks were too easy, so they got what they asked for .
