from my testing on TC3, Id guess all BE pets are in a real mess
the stats in the parent DNA are all messed up. I took 5 samples from pikets and horned voritor lizards and chucked them into a pet (no real science to it) - came out at as a lvl 160+ with medium armour
This was due to all the DNA samples having fortitude of 1000 (Medium armour) - my guess is any BE pet that has armour will come out at some crazy level now
lets just hope they recognise this and sort it. Btw all pets do seem to be the same now. Whatever I try I cant get any specials on them - my guess is they either arent working or have been removed entirely

Maybe thats because you aren't supposed to be testing on an unbalanced planet yet?
So far only Level 1-50 on The 3 starter planets, rori and talus are balanced.
if I chucked 5 of those into the mix I bet I'd get medium armour.
the point was (which seems to have been missed a tad) that BE pets (especially armoured ones) seem to still need a lot of work on them, we'll just have to wait until the devs get round to them.

I was given the option to adjust it's level to it's stats or to adjust it's stats to it's level. I figured it wouldn't go over level 70. Instead I was given back a creature of lvl 171. Can no longer handle the pet
The rebalance is to rid us of 11k Health lvl-10 Gurrecks guys. You can't have your cake and eat it too. So many people have come in here and complained about out of balance non-ch pets. This is the fix everyone was waiting for.
Now before any of you try to start yelling at me know this.... I have right now in my possession about5 million credits worth of non-ch pets that are going to become useless. And yet I sit here and defend their doing this. So don't try and call me names for doing it, I am already peaved enough as it is.

a rancor has a much higher level then a player now (otherwise it wont be a red con dot). it should have a much higher level after the CU too - much higher then 80. so CH need to have increased skills to tame them. i hope the devs adjust this before the CU goes live or either rancors will be as powerful as rabbits or untameable for CH. with all the daily hotfixes and bugfixing patches that will come up after the CU they wont have time to adjust this minor feature until christmas.

I understand why they are doing it...so no worries that I'll yell at you.
What upsets me is that NO PET, BE or CH, that I have in my datapad is worth having.. no matter the level or what. They are all useless....they can't do dmg and they can't defend/tank for me.
I started work on a great test for the CU. I've invited over some of the neighbourhood kids to test out my TC Bria toon and my TCEP3 toon. Let's just say, so far it's failing. TC Bria cause they just don't understand and TCEP3 cause it crashed to desktop and is still loading so they can't really get a feel for it.

It's obvious that pets arnt converting right yet. If you remember how messed up the creatures were on day one of the CU beta (especial off tat) it's realy no suprise.
Since this is like the 1st or 2nd day they've been doing the conversions,I wouldn't worry about how your pets look justyet, lets not all jump to contusions here.

The levels system has to give somewhere for us. We either tame higher creatures to remain viable, or get the biggest nerf ever.
