Id go 2004 Enhancer instead of 4002. Forcerun2 is worthless for combat but i guess its good for running away now, i dont know... i just think that forcemeditate is a more valuable skill. Without forcemeditate you're going to spend a lot of time just waiting for force to regen, guess its not a big deal since youre going to be running with FR2 alot You also pick up ForceShield2... just in case someone decides to get Master powers and actually fight with them... if that ever happens.

You mentioned 15 points in FS quest boxes, didnt you mean 24?

As long as you have a good buff and master entertainer buffs Channel Force will work perfectly to keep you

from having long down times. With the buffs your ham will regen most always by the time you get to your

next lair.

You should double check your template sp calculations though, MochloD's right, you must have 24sp in f.s. skills

Yeah channelforce has saved my hide a bunch of times BUT, I'm not so sure we can always depend on buffs being as good as they are now. Im at 4214 Lightsaber, 3204 Healer, 2404 Enhancer and Novice Defender and it seems like im channeling and meditating quite a bit (i have been using a higher force cost saber though).

His template checks out just fine skill point wise,I think he just mistyped the FS requirements. Even with 24 the rest of his template is doable.

Very true. Once combat rebalance takes place buffs will probably be greatly reduced making channel force

much much less effective. If we had a reasonable ETA on when the CR is to go live it would help us decide

our final templates...Rev

Yup I mispoke the FS skills. Not sure what I was thinking when I said 15. Thanks very much for the input. Is this template close to what most people are doing? I don't really want to be FOTM, I just want a round, playable jedi (within reason of course...I know all to well the whole system is borked.). I'm currently at 0020 in LS and have not moved into anything else yet. What would be the suggested way to progress from here?

EDIT: I really appreciate the legit suggestions and comments. So much stuff on this forum is useless rembling. It's nice to know I can come here for real help. Magic

I haven't really noticed alot of people taking 3 lines in Lightsaber. Most either take 2 lines or go for Master. At first I didn't like it but it does allow you to grab those 2 lines in Defender. The melee defense is always nice and since you're lightsaber block will only be +60, you can use the Ranged defense as well. Still, id really consider taking either 4004 Lightsaber or 0044 Lightsaber and grab 4404 Defender or 4402 (id actually go 2404 but i covered that already)Enhancer since you're going for Enhancer anyway, might be nice to have Forcearmor2.

You're doing alot of what i should have done. Im currently 4214 Lightsaber, 3204 Healer, 2404 Enhancer and Novice Defender. The plan is to be Master Lightsaber, 4404 Healer and 4404 Enhancer. I would love to drop some Enhancer lines and grab some more defender... but im too far into it to go back. I'm so ready for the grind to be over with

Thanks very much for the information. If I do only take 2 lines in LS which is more round for pve and pvp...1h or 2h?

For pve and jedi pvp 2h (or actually polearm) would do better as it has higher damage output, and I would recommend getting enhancer 3xxx to get force speed2, so you can increase your speed, which won't be capped until you go master LS.

For non jedi pvp 1h is better because of mind hit. Imho, if you are not going master ls, I'd go 4004, so 1h.

Edit: Spelling

I see alot of people going for polearm but in my experience (vs bounty hunters not large scale pvp) 1H is the way to go. Head hits rule in normal pvp and the same applies with Jedi. Bounty hunters that will come for you are going to be buffed but many of them carry stim's around, the one thing that cant heal is mind damage.

Even in PvE im destroying 6-8 rancors within seconds using flurry, so its not like 1H is gimped in that regard. Still, if you're in love with the polearm saber then go with that. I actually prefer the one handed style so that tends to be whatI recommend. To each his own.

I actually like the one handed style and see it as more "jedi like" IMHO but I was told to do Polearm first because of the damage increase. I was told that it would speed the grind a little. I am lucky enough to have a few premium crystals that tuned well so FC is not an issue as of yet. I could go all the way to polearm 4 and do one hand 4 and then just drop polearm but thats a lot of exp and time wasted. I'll either keep pole arm and use it or I'll probably master LS and rework my build again.

Grinding polearm is easiest, true, because you get area attack very soon. But once you hit 4xxx it will no longer matter.
