I can understand your reaction since we all currently reside in the Fourth Circle of Hell, but he was joking

I agree with:

Mount Upgrades : ALL

General Upgrades: ALL except #1 and #5 - Pet Sync sounds too much like telepathy. Although a telepathy ability may be a nice addition to SWG, I don't believe such a skill should be limited only to Creature Handlers. Also, I may misunderstand #5, but I would think a rancor would have a greater chance of toppling a target than either a Cu Pa or a Bol. Just becuase a rancor has no horns doesn't mean it can't toss its weight around.

General Fixes: ALL

I'm neither a creature handler nor a bio-engineer, and I have little knowledge of either. However, from what I do know and can reason, these seem to be rational, enjoyable improvements. I hope the devs at least consider this.

Pet Sync was intended for use only by a Creature Handler, most likely an abeality reserved souly for being a Master Creature Handler. There are 2 other types of followers, droids andcontrolable NPC's. Droids aren't controlable like this for obviouse reasons and NPC's do not share the same kind of bond a pet would. This abeality is only for CH, but it should only be available so long as the CH has only 1 pet called. Besides, I never said there was anything telekenetic or mystical about this. For all you know, the CH may very well be tapping commands on the ground or blowing whistles that the creature has come to understand to perform more advanced minuivers.

#5 may be thrown out soon with the option to train pets special moves, or it could be a reason to better have it. A Rancor can do allot of things due to it's size and hands, but every pet must have strengths and weakness or everybody will be training heir pets to Stun and Knockdown. I especially want Stun and Knockdown, one or both, to be a weakness on Razorcat, Rancor, Kimigola, and Graul simply because they are the most overused pets as it is.

Well, "Pet Sync" could be used on droid somthing like Slave Circuits. I can easily understand how any such ability wouldn't work on NPCs. Still, I find it a little hard to swallow that a creature handler is so well connected to a pet that the pet "reads his masters mind". Then again, as mentioned, the master could be using subtle messages. This also sounds a tad farfetched, but, what the heck, this is Star Wars, eh?

I agree pets should have special moves and distinctions. There should be more to choosing a pet than how it looks, but a ram-like creature should still have ram-like abilities. I would think that creatures of similar size, age, and level would have relatively equal stats. However, if one of those animals has a special trait (example, horns), than that creature should have a better chance of toppling an opponent. Still, a creature far smaller than a Rancor, horns or not, should be at a disadvantage. As for the overuse of certain creatures such as the rancor, I believe there are two reasons. First, most of those animals are powerful and look cool. Also, most creature handlers aren't able to master truly useful combat professions, so they need the most from being a creature handler........so far, the most seems to be the Rancor and his friends. I would also like to see this "creature spamming" toned down, but I don't think levying unreasonable penalties is the best route.

I didn't intend to offend anyone by saying "most creature handlers can't master truly useful combat professions" in the above post. It just seems from my hours of number crunching for profession combinations, that it is unlikely, or incredibly difficult, to become both a creature handler and a major combatant. So, please, don't start raking me if you consider yourself to be a combative creature handler. If you want to share your profession tree, feel free; I can always use some new information.

Pet Synch was created for the purpose of controling a creature since CH have the most available to control. A droid being controled is not too far fetched since the highest droid ANYBODY could control was CL30. With no other followers, the CL30 won't be doing much good, but it would at least offer Non-Combat professions, like a Doctor who may not have any innert combat abealities, to be useful in a fight. The AT-ST is the exception that draws my attention though. I know nothing of weather or not the AT-ST requires any specific class to control, other than being operational only by Emperials. I agree that droids should have this option, so long as they follow the same rules as Synched pets. However, there should besomething required before Droids are controlable like this.

With the new meathod of teaching poets special attacks, there should be requirements a creature must have before they can learn certain attacks. For instance, creatures CL34 or lower would only be able to learn 1 special attack. There should also be limmitations for what kinds of special attacks can be learned by an individual creature. With the lack of skill the DEV's have, I have a hard time immagining this happening.

And as far as being a combatant, almost any profession can outdamage a pet and this abeality would be useless unless combined with a mount. However, those who don't have a combat abeality would benifit from this abeality.

I'm not sure what you mean by "creature spamming", but creature commands can be put into a form of "/tellpet ___" that does not cause spatial spamming and reacts faster than a word bubble.

By "creature spamming", I meant the obvious abundance of rancors, kimigolas, etc. I've never experienced problems with commands being spammed, but I've never really been around Creature Handlers either.
