Thread: Yet another nerf to ch
Sounds like more of the usual CH bugs that the devs add to the game to screw us. They affect some people but not others. I'm beginning to think they're doing this intentionally just to confuse the issue. We've had several bugs that are intermittant. They'll work fine for one person but not another or work every mon, tues, fri, but not the other days.
How many other professions have bugs that affect only some of the people? CH seems to have lots of them.

So you were at lvl 56 with you and pets, and 83 with 2 other people.
That dont count you added people not pets.
Here is my experience with this issue in past and present
I havnt noticed a change as of late and was doing missions last night.
Rule #1: The missions available on mission terminals in a given location change over time. In my city of Aventine Naboo, we could take famba and rouge famba missions. After patch #5 or sowe could no longer get them. After patch #7 or sothey have come back. I think the creatures available in a given area rotate in some fassion like resources. The fambas came back to us recently, something the poster usualy hunts may have recently left that area.
Rule #2: If you group with a pet that is lower effective level than you are (with a combat proffession and weapon in hand) it will reduce the missions that you can get. I've done this intentionaly on occasion. Grouping with a baby chuba to get missions for very low level things.
Rule #3: If you group with a pet of a higher effective level than your are you get higher level missions available.
I think in the end it works like this. When you access a terminal it looks at some value based on your groups cumulative level and that serves as the upper limit for missions you can get. It also looks at the lowest individual level in your group and that serves as the lower limit to missions you can get. Low level pets I think can lower your groups max imum cumulative level in some way, so its not simple addition of the individuals in the group.

Dang, beat me too it. When I was a Commando/CH if I grouped with a pet that was level 15 or under, It would reduce the mission level. In any case, I recommend getting a combat droid as well. I pull out pets and a combat droid to get even higher missions.

Ok on dathomir I can't push above 40 but it is working on coronet. It is looking like it may be a wierd bug.
sorry for the scare I haven't had much faith lately in ch. I will do more testing to see if other planets are giving the same results.

What are you grouped with?
You said previously you have pets and a droid in your group?
I recommend trying without the droid, because droids reduce my difficulty level greatly when I run missions(me averaging difficulty level 28-30 on domestic planets just by myself, if I group a droid it reduces the difficulty by at least 10 or 15.)
Just a thought
2 level 35 pets and a level 13 droid totalling level 83. I also tried a level 63 pet and a droid. This used to push my level to the high 80s. I also tried without the droid. It worked on corellia, so I think it is a random bug.

Interestingly, this applies to players as well.
I was helping out some new players in their leveling the other night, and I was checking consider levels after we broke up (one player was still in the group). I'd do a consider on say, a vynock, and it would con higher to me with the other player grouped than by myself with an FWG equipped.
When I group with the normal gang of elite profession masters, the cons are lower to me than when I solo. Not true with new players with lower skills than mine...grouping with them actually lowers the level of mission I can call from the terminal on tne starter planets.
