I don't like the template threads, I think they're rediculous to base your game experience of of another persons opinion. If I like t I try it and once there I'l drop it if it's not what I imagined it to be.
Do I go into those threads and trash them no, I don't even look in them.
Iclicked the thread because I thought it may be someone wanting some help. You know, cause helping people is a good thing. Maybe if you clicked on template threads you could help someone out as well. But if that's not your thing that's fine.
As far as basing your game experience off of someone else's opinion is concerned, I don't see how that is a bad thing either. When I go out to eat or am going to be experiencing something new, a lot of times finding out information about it is helpful. And template threads aren't always about an opinion. A lot of times it's about stats and other FACTS. Just because you have a lot of spare time to goof off on some template you know nothing about, doesn't mean that everyone else wants to do that.
It would just be nice to someday click on one of the forums without having to read about how everybody misses the game before the CU. Yet they're still playing the game. So based on what you're saying, if you don't like something then you shouldn't have anything to do with it, correct? Then how am I wrong by telling someone that if they miss the old game so much, a game which is sooooo completely different, that they should quit?

Yah you and another 1 million PEOPLE they arent doing it and I am kinda tired of hearing about these kinda posts i stopped playing for 3 months when cu came out because all my weapons turned to crap couldnt wear my armor and my best weapon changed to 50 damage that mad emy day. I and about the other billion people have decided ok time to adapt and move on now eitheir do that or quit because they are not gonna make a pre-cu server no game developer would make a server that is different from any other server. That would be an unfair move to all of the other servers. Where is your common sense the idea is that the game is equal in all respects. That would be the same as going OH NO i dont want Premiums on the other servers you could just give em to Valcyn. To make the change to pre-cu they would all have to change to pre-cu and devs probably would support that pretty well. But Marketing dept at soe umm no

3 ATST and they can attack MOBs, pike DOTs, eye shot, stun weapons, 90% compo, flamethrower DOTS, 20 man groups every one a CH every one with grauls, 2400 doc buffs, carbineers incapping themselves with specials, pistoleers being good for nothing, black bars from CM diseases that hit for 1200 a tick, group TEF, warcry, intimidate, clone ganking, killing everything that moved on Dathomir solo, no vehicles, no mounts, 10 minute shuttle waits, making millions a day doing jantas....
Anything I missed?

i miss the old days as well
i miss the excitment of joining a rancor hunting group 20 strong, knowing msot of us are gonna be cloning rather than biking back to the mission terminals bazaar bought ubese (an amasing 40% kinetic resist) no buffs just fun and comradery the excitment of a truly dangerous hunting, hoping you cna make enoguh from this to buy your shuttle tickets back home the later armours and buffs killed tihs type of gaeplay and created the "i must solo everything or this games crap" mentality so yes i miss th eold days as well and rather than jumping on someone who said they do im gonna join them and admit i do as well
but much as i miss this changing the game wont bring it back, its the palyers as much as the game that needs changing and until we all change the way we think those days are gone for good
