Thread: The autostoring pet bug is UNACCEPTABLE
You know, this might be a noobs stupid solution but why can't they just turn the pet auto-store off. Nothing attacks it, unless I send it to attack something. They don't degrade with time like the speeder bikes. And never once have I brought out a pet and forgot about it, becauseit follows me around.
There's probably a good reason why there's auto-store on the pets, but I haven't encountered it yet, and with this bug out, I'd rather have my pets out all the time, than to have it store when I need it the most.

The last time it was this bad, I did quit for awhile and replayed KOTOR for the dark side (the content in that game puts this one to shame).
I faithfully report every bug I experience, even the graphical screw up of my wookiee smock after one of their publishes.
I have finished Far Cry during my sabatical, but now i can't find anything good enough to draw me away from SWG, so I just keep calling my pets over and over. It is weird how sometimes they don't even go to the datapad. You have to store them several times first and then call them. Maybe one of their working specials is "parallel dimension".

Combat class or not...that's just wrong.
I disagree.
/bonk You actually think that a perfectly healthy pet engaged in combat should suddenly autostore?
Same thing as a weapon poofing durning combat. I don't usually die, but I do /peace and run. I know my limitations and without a pet? Better run....fast.
I have to /agree as well. This bug is preventing me from having fun which, last time I checked, is the point of playing games. ![]()
I also submit a bug report each time. Once for each pet that autostores and one for my vehicle which usually stores right after.

I came to find out that my friend spent alot of time on Talus, and this is where it happened to me.
Well I left the game and came back a few months later to find out that this still happens on Talus. I haven't noticed this problem of any other planet.
Also, the big one that gets me, is when I'm running through the wilderness with my pet and I notice that it starts to lag behind....way behind. I turn around to see my pet walking very slow and twitching like its trying to turn and walk in a straight line at the same time. I always have to store the pet then bring it back out again. This is another very old bug.
It my fault, I didn't report any of these bugs. I'm not sure if they hired anyone to read them yet, because bugs I have reported in the past didn't seem to get fixed.

LOL, yeah but it would be nice to at least see a paw reach out from that dimension and smack the target.

I am currently playing City of Heroes, it is cool.
Occasionally i pull out my MCH but only when I am bored and need high end missions.
My BE is more fun right now. NOw that is an overpowered profession, one little needle will kill almost anything hehe
Frustrating for us, simply embarassing for the guys coding the game ... this is the coding equivalent of being unable to tie your shoelaces. I mean really, who cares how pretty the art is when you can't do the most basic stuff right?
Seems significantly worse with the most recent Publish.
