My level 9 kima (10k health but tons of vulnerabilities and low action/mind, it's a good BE pet in my opinion) that was made a few days ago shows level 0 when examined, but really isn't that low. I just think the true levels on many of these don't show properly.

So what, are these old Bio Rancor's Illegal or something. I bought one along time ago(around Sept.) and it's lvl is 0 and I really don't wanna get in trouble for just having it out.

First of all, that pet is bugged and will get fixed. Second of all, a non CH cannot use it. It is agressive. This would be a strange reason to give up CH.

Wrong, I used the rancor a a non ch. I borrowed it to get to novice CH.

Before I ever started CH I was givin a tweaked BE pet in Pub 5 times. It was a Lvl 8 cat with 8k ham, It was a shame because I didn't know what I had and rarely used it. BUT when Pub 7 hit the pet's stats stayed the same but I couldn't call it anymore. And at this time I was CH with Max level 22 and still couldn't use it.

So my point is these BE tweaked pets wont last you long.

Here is the straight truth about this exploit (and it is an exploit).

Rancors that were made prior to publish 6 that were kept in a factory crate and then removed after publish 6 to be tamed have 0 vicious level and 0-1 CL. That means, anyone anywhere with enough money can pull out a pet that was originally made to be level 50+ and use it regardless of their profession set.

Make no mistake, this is a bug, and using a bugged pet to do anything is an exploit according to SOE. So I don't want to hear "Oh it's not a real exploit because a BE made it." Whoever is using a CL 0 rancor is exploiting a bug to their own advantage. Personally I've reported two people for this, both were stupid enough to put it in a trade window to show it off...screenshot /report.

I don't know about the rest of you but I worked my butt off to get Master Creature Handler and I'm not about to let exploiters purchase the "power" I had to earn.

To sum up:

- They do not count as vicious pets (vicious level of 0) so non-ch's can use them

- They have the full stats of a normal rancor 10k-13k HAM all the restists, all the special attacks, and all the damage

-The BE that made them is not exploiting, the people using them are...when the BE made the crate of rancors they made them correctly and legally, they only became bugged after publish 6, so it's not the BE's fault (that according to SOE)

-This is a bannable offense (I am more than happy to take screenies and report people for this)

What do you mean you borrowed it to get Novice? You don't need any CH exp to get novice. Just scout. And as stated, a non-ch CANNOT call any pets with an aggro skin. I have tested this many many many many times. With every BE aggro skin.

DNA samples aren't stackable NOW. This is all from a long time ago when people could make crates up on crates of stuff. Think BE skill sets and factories from November and October time lines. Things in BE land changed so much so that they can't use factories anymore, but back then BE's could make crates and crates of animals because all the parts were uniform. It was only recently that DNA samples gained all the silly little secondary stat things. For the longest time a BE could "find" samples or take numerous identical samples from one animal or animals from the same lair and make factory crates of DNA templates that were identical. FYI that's probably why factory crate pets are bugged...with the system the way it is now they shouldn't even exist.
