anobaca I never said we were and I know all about what we were and what we are
truthfully in august 03 -oct o3 considering what the game was back then, we were comparably that strong to what they are today. like it or not ch was uber when this game launched
i hated being nerfed it actually was 2 nerfs one in the fall one in winter of 03
all I am saying is maybe we shouldn't be angry at the profession, its not the jedi clas that is at fault its the system put in place.
yes people whine in almost every profession. myself and joker just posted in a nerf rifleman thread last week because someone got beat up by a rifleman lol hmm he may have been a jedi too lmao
point is the nerf screams never stop
laugh at the whiners and ignore em is the best anyone can do with the state of this game right now
oh and I dont remember the devs ever saying jedi shuld be able to kill 20 elites, unless ur talking musicians and artisans lol I would love to see this statement if you can find it.
thats not sarcasm, i would like to see it

I quite contraversially say :
People play Jedi because they want to be UBER.
The Jedi that DESERVE the character have quit now.
Jedi should be made 200% weaker.
Ranged professions need skills like on KOTOR2 "Precise Shot" (ignores saber deflect).
Therefore my childish conclusion : Jedi Suck Gnort reproductive organs.

I understand what you was saying but with respect Joker I come to the CH fourms to get away from the talk about them.
Someday I will tame my frienzed grual baby I am guessing it will be the day after hell freezes over but it will happen

Yeah, the quote I brought over from the carbineers forums got hijacked in a sense too Going from, showing that CH's were in the movies to totally off the wall stuff that I never said originally!!
But anyway, yeah, you mention Jedi and automatically it does become a flame fest. I'm not sure if people are more disgusted with the Jedi prof or the type of person that we typically see playing the prof. Jedi have no reason to cry if they do in fact get some nerfage since profs like Creature Handler, Smuggler, Entertainers of all kinds, etc have dealt with far worse for far longer... some in part due to Jedi (the holo grind and current uber l33t crap has ruined the entertainer prof... sometimes wonder why I even keep master dancer)

Not all who play or have a jedi wish to be uber or pvp. thats like saying all ch like collecting rares and never use they're pets for combat and vis verser. you know the old debate is ch combat or roleplay lol
I have a Jedi hes basically a nov and hes also a mch. I do not wish to be uber. I do wish to be a great ch.
I want the powers tree for the petcalm and creature powers it fits ch beautifully. I only want one column of saber and dump whatever points left over into healing.
I have no desire to pvp but do understand it comes with the territory and if I die once i build my mch/jedi template then so be it. I dont care lol.
I agree with most of what people say and feel about Jedi, but you should realise that itis not the majority of the jedi profession that do and behave in all the ways people despise. most just want to PVE with friends and careless about power and showing off nor being uber.
A poll was conducted and it was a 60% majority that wished for a PVE jedi class. with stipulations of city imitations ... too long to list what the man suggested lol.
In my old city we had several Jedi and none pvp'd nor cared too all they wanted to do was live in peace and play with friends and have fun.
Its sad that a minority of bad players here can have such an effect on people, look at our own class ch. the majority do not like the 10k ham pets now the lvl1/0 pets but these pets get tamed don't they.
who tames them? a ch does. oh wait we are the good guys lmao
Hehe time to change the rant to bugged pets hehe. this is a bigger pet peve to me than any jedi lol.
as others have said usually we hang here to keep away from the rants of the common folk lol.
CH has rants all they're own to consume them lol.
