I made it to a long term post? Kinda? Cool!
On a more positive front, A MCH friend of mine (A Wookie) and I ran a few experiments last night with my pets. I pulled an HTFB (The huge ranger camps that are bigger than the small factional bases, and much cooler
) and camped in the middle of several spawns (Gungans/philosophers to the west, Gnorts to the north, Nightspiders to the south). I pulled my twin swamp stalkers. 3 seconds later, they were off and running at the gnorts. I called them back, and after a few tries, they came back. So, I stored one, and transferred the other to my Wookie friend. He pulled it, and walked right by the gnorts, and only had to tell the critter to follow him a few times.
His responce was "Well, it seems to follow ok. Only had to tell it to follow a few times, and it attacks things fine. Maybe it has to do with its being ferocity 9, stalker, and aggro in the wild." He makes a good point. So we transferred my cat back to me, and I transferred my Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader to him, and tried the same experiment. With the same results. I cant get the thing to follow me for more than 5 meters if I'm near anything, and My wookie friend gets it to tag along like a good little pet. He came back, and repeated what he said earlier. So we told the pet to stay, and waited a while to see if it would run off. It didnt. Until he was getting ready to transfer it back to me lol. Thern it ran off and killed some gnorts. After he called it back twice, We transferred the pet back to me. So, I reworked my follow macro, changed the follow command from"fm" to "follow" and macro'd it for a 2 second repeat. Now its impossible to carry on a conversation in spatial, but my pets follow me the way they are supoosed to. Bloody idiocy; I realize pets act this way in the wild, but THESE ARE TRAINED ANIMALS! Go to the circus. Do the tigers in the main ring try to attack small children cause they would make a good snack? Nooooooo. Or even the animal trainer? He'd make a quick meal, and theres not much anyone could do. They are trained. They sit on their butts till called for, then do their tricks, then go back to where theyre supposed to and get fed.
Devs, correspondents, if any of you ever read this, PLEASE, I'm begging you, Make our trained animals ACT like trained animals. Not like wild beasts that occasionally do what we ask them to when they feel like it.

i have'nt got any problems with that... got some pets diseappering and out of group while they were still out...
You have to choose and feel it. if you want to get ride of MCH, do it. maybe you can try to keep some skill trees.
but CH will be really more useful after the CU. Pets will have their use, more effective...
Today , pets are sooooo weak but need to find the strenght in them. i go with my BE gurreck light armor, 60% kinetic and strong poison and desease in the DWB... it rocks. but it's sure that pets are like "useless" sometimes...
i'm like you. my main char was MCH for a long time... had to drop for padawan but for me, it's a NEED.
So my alt is MCH... i can't quit.
As everybody says MCH is a way of life. i personnaly can't quit this life...
So you have the choice. if i were you, just wait a little more to see how it is after CU... then choose to die... or live...
