Very similar to the original poster's, a BE'd CL 26 Brackaset with light armor, Stunning & Crippling Strike, 60% resists for its best stuff ... I use him frequently when hunting with a CL 40 Ravaging Roba Stalker trailing behind for a pretty good 2-pet attack combo when I dismount.

Seriously, mounts are just too slow and there are no tangeable benefits to them other than looking cool.

In-city PvP. You ride your vehicle around in a city while you're overt, you're just asking for it to be ganked out from underneath you. Riding my li'l Mule with a CL 40 pet in formation, I'm ready for what comes in a big city like Theed .... I see a tough group of 6 guys on the radar that I can't beat, I can gallop out of harm's way even if they do get several shots off at me (whereas a good Rifleman can knock the bike out with 1 shot, and me next). I see 1 or 2 guys that I think I can take, I dismount, send in the pets & open up with the pistol of choice.

I'm using a BE'd bol that seems to have a mind of it's own

and I recently caught a Cu-pa and bantha just because they are the new trend. Would prefer a wasteland Cu-pa but hey I'll see if I like the cupa first.

I've always loved my Lowland Brackaset with his easy, plodding gate. But I have to admit, my little CL9 CuPa (Peanut) is fun to dash around town on. If/when they finally fix the mount issues, I might just make myself a battle CuPa.

One piece of advice, try to judge the wasteland without thinking about the regular cu-pa. The regulars are, imo, just too small to consider if you are taller than your average Bothan. As a non-max-height Twi'lek, my feet would almost touch the floor on a regular cu pa - I would expect some very tall wookies or trandoshans would keep stubbing their toes while riding one. The wasteland, however, is a very nice size for all species andactually looks like it can carry 180lbs without breaking its back.

This is one point I hadn't really considered before droping CH recently, but several of the non-CH mounts are simply too small. A non-BE version of the dewback andbol are just silly (imo) when being ridden by a larger size character. Bantha's are ok, but the new cu pa is also horribly small even when made by a BE. As a great deal of the mount appeal is aesthetic, this is simply another mark against certain mounts making them unpopular. Despite the fact the just riding around on my wasteland kept me playing CH for a full week after I had stopped using it totally for anything else, I would never consider using a cu pa mount as a non-CH because it looks, well, dumb when I am sitting on something that is shorter than I am.

But to answer the original poster, until Publish 7 - speederbike; after publish 7 - wasteland cu pa until 2 days ago; now - speederbike

As a minimum height Bothan, a cupa works well for me.

I have a bull bantha, a mountain dewback, and wasteland cu pa as well as a regular cu pa. I pretty much agree that regular cu pas are too small. I gave one to my brother who is a wookie (a be non ch one) It looked so silly he said it was too embarassing to keep lol. I'm also wondering if anyone has noticed the fact that wasteland cu pas are slower than their smaller versions. It doesn't really make sense seeing as they have longer legs and all.
