Oh no I didnt mean to actually use the tracks, we would have to set our own waypoints and man them ourselves. se I am wierd, I like doing things the hard way. Why else would I choose CH?

Gentleman while I agree a ch rally in the form of protest will be deemed punishable by banishment.
However a ch rally on a server at a particular time to have a ch pet show with varius games involved and guest speakers during the halftime show is a player event
So we need a server to host our player event
games can be ch dueling = natural pets and seperate be pets
pet races = using follow other targeting a judge 100m away and using the follow command once they reach the judge. maybe have 3 different race catagories and seperate lvl's or type
pet show = show off your pet use commands to entertain the crowd have 3 judges decide winner
halftime guest speaker's = who will speak and of whatto be determined at a later date
raffle time = raffle of a high level be pet, a rare, and ultra rare if possible.
hired band shall play songs and dance
wraps up with the great CH Hunt = group up move out and kill something lol
thats all I got for now

As a rather new member to SWG, and posting with less than two hours of sleep, I was a bit lazy to look over what has happend at past rallies.
Once I did I realized having one was about as intelligent as trying to get that fly off your shoulder by shooting it with a shotgun...ouch...
Alright maybe it was a bad idea, but CHs should hold a pet show. A chance for CHs to mount, sell, and make a bit of a splash. A little get together would also pass on knowledge of the CH profession. Maybe we could schedual a CH crawl, move from city to city, vending pets, having exhibitions, even see who can tame the most chubas outside of theed.
I think a little CH convention is a good idea and was a bit more of what I was aiming at.

That sounds like a lot of fun and a good way to spread awareness of both the fun and issues associated with Creature Handler (and meet cool new people in the process). But yeah, it's probably a good idea to focus on enhancing the fun of the surrounding players and try to avoid negatively impacting their ability to play at the time.

Well I have had a post going on about this for a while now. Plus I talk about the idea to every CH I see. So it is not as if we are not trying. Maybe some help?

the most difficult aspect of organising a ch event would be getting everyone together
ch are spread out over the servers, many here who share a common bond would find it difficult to create a character and grind ch in time to be a part of anything ch'ish (if thats a word) mounts are easy since creatiing a character and buying one or asking for a baby from a ch, holding it in your characters datapad till grown and asking the ch to toss a saddle on it.
IMO its all doable but timing is important, maybe looking in the ch by server thread and taking the largest ch server would be a start, then setting a date of two weeks giving people time to create characters, grind novice ch, and aquire mounts.
Procrastination I deem myself guilty lol. easier said than to organise
Maybe in another month I may be able to take up the reigns and organise something but right now I'm kinda busy grinding a couple of characters and RL is a little crazy too. Any volunteers?
I do not have a ch on tempest but he's my wealthiest character and can help there, shadowfire I'm ch but middle class financially, might be able to take a day or too to find a rare to raffle off.
and thanks for the plug Vert

CH player event is an excellent idea for sure if we can solve the prob of creating new alts. How many of us still have CH alts on Bria that we created for the Vert sponsored events?

I'm putting together a guild zoo, and wanted to make the opening an event. I figure this could morph into a CH crawl?

jopenack- all my toons are on Tempest.Do you play theremuch? I wonder if I've ever bumped into you in game
As much as I'd love to see this, as it has been stated earlier, it's a bit tougher to organize a rally when CHs are spread across servers and grinding out CH on a new server just for an event is asking a bit much
I've now done it twice, once in the old system and one in the new. Just like the unarmed 1-4 grind, I really don't wanna do it again
Besides, it's hard to show off your best pets when your best pets are specific to a character on a server that may not be the host forthe event.
