I will sticky an Elite pet thread at some point, but honestly right now it seems a bit premature.
First of all, only one Elite is currently tamable, the Female Narglatch. The other pre-CU rares that became post-CU Elites (Great Plains Stalker, Plains Hunter, Swamp Stalker, Wild Dune Boar, Malignant Squill) aren't spawning because of the post-CU broken spawn system. They were also pretty rare prior to the CU, so the people that have them most likely aren't putting them out there for sale/trade.
And other new, highly desireable Elites marked Tamable: Yes (Stoneskin Hanadak, Blurrg Raptor, Graul Marauder) are also subject to the broken spawn system and were NOT tamable pre-CU, so nobody's got one. Pre-CU, these were three of the nastiest creatures you'd find, and post-CU they look like they'd make excellent pets. But the spawning system is preventing them from existing as tamable babies.
If and when they fix the spawning system so people can actually get these pets, I'll put a sticky up. Until then, the sticky would just confuse newer players who would find themselves unable to tame these awesome pets IMHO.
