Thread: Fixed?

i don't know if it is fixed yet, i am on the corbanits sever and my pets are still under my feet. this really pisses me off. i think that the bug in the pet mounts is due to the devs thinking that mounts and bikes are the same... hehe you don't want your speeder bike following you ... do you. hehe that you 'd be kind of funny.
In this world (SWG) we have droids that float on antigrav. You bet I expect semi-responsive vehicles. But they wern't in the movies and they arn't in the game so I cope.

Experimenting a bit more tonight, it seems that the mount pets are highly susceptible to autostoring, while the non-mount pets seem to be not doing it.
I tried three different mounts and one non-mount tonight, doing some simple missions and some meatlump bashing around Coronet. My dewback, giant carrion spat, and lesser dew all poofed, the carrion spat in the middle of a lair attack. My kusak stalker, on the other hand, stood with me against a long series of meatlumps on a static spawn point without storing himself.
Also, the 0 range thing seems to happen upon calling (I tested this with droids as well) and then after that, they keep their distance, if they're sent away for some reason.
The mounts still do not autofollow you, unless, it appears, they've been called away on guard duty to take on something that aggroed me. Then they follow. But once you mount them, they revert to the "I'm standing here waiting for you" behavior I observed earlier in the day.
I have a BE'ed Brackaset (CL45, Light Armor, Ranged Attacks, Strong Disease, Strong Poison name is Abram) who is trained as a mount and will simply stand still if i get off of him. However if i say come either in spatial or using /tellpet he gets into formation and follows like normal.
I sorta like this though. Abram is primarily a mount and its nice that i dont have to command him to stay when i get off of him. If this problem just occured with mounts i wouldnt mind at all.
