Some time around the end of July. The details are a bit fuzzy.
I had a bit of a head-start being one of the few handlers in beta. It let me know what to do without power-leveling at the Tusken Fort.
I have never dropped nor thought about dropping my Master box, although I have gone through eight other professions. Except for Scout. I'm never dropping it either.

Cant remember the first time...I do remember that I tamed a Kliknik Queen, passed up on an Arachne Webmaster cause there were too many red mobs, and failed on a Barkmite Burrower Queen and it killed me. I did drop it once to play with some templates, but picked it back up about a month before they removed the armor from pets cl40 and under.
Oh wait, my first tamed pet was a Medium armored Giant Sand Beetle...

I believe that was the day.
Maybe be a bit of a surprise but I dont but much emphasis on MAster Professions, I prefer to learn everything thing about them. I took me a few weeks to Master Artisan because I woudl only craft when somone order somethig from me.
But I must say that Creature Handler is my favorite profession.

CH was the first profession I mastered, and it was probably around august when I busted it I used the original Tusken village right outside of Jabba's palace to get mad CH xp way way way back in the day.

I started working on CH pretty much right from launch, and took until the day of the mount patch to master it. Then I started dropping CH skills in mid-April to free up skillpoints for Commando.
I suremiss my babies, since I can't use most of them any more.

I don't remember exactly. I know it was after mounts, cause on mount day, I finished off Empathy 4 and that put me at 2444. I think it was about a week later when I mastered.

Theweek after the VERY first major CH changes (bye bye 3 rancors etc). It's been an interresting ride to say the least...
As with many others, I've seen CH go from obscure and mystical (howI miss those days of respect).
To uber and universal. To kicked in the go-nads and limping. To adecayingcadaver/pinata.
...That's right - I never left and I'm still here! They can take my Rancor when they pry it from my cold, nerfed hands!!!

Been a MCH since august 2003. Those were the days!
So those that question some of my CH ideas please remember. I have been one since the beginning. I have seen and gone through all the changes. I still remain. I know this profession and what it needs. It needs respect from the SOE development team.

since september. gave up droid engineer back then and turned to the dark side - creature handler.
