Thread: Increased lvl 10 slots?

I think we definitely need more storage in one form or another, but I'm not sure what kind of impact additional slots with special restrictions would have on actual database consumption. Presumably you'd be putting restrictions (like "only pets below X difficulty") on a slot to limit the number of people who actually use it, and thus save database space. Would a non-trivial number of people actually leave those CL 10 and under slots empty, though? If I know CHs, they'd fill them with fun roleplay pets or mounts.
I guess it really boils down to how much space a pet takes up in the database, and whether there would be real savings by putting restrictions on slots (as opposed to making them unrestricted).
Vert, I wouldn't mind going back to the 15 Aggressive 15 Non Aggressive storage, that was at launch. I became a CH after that and the Droid bug fix. However, if we could get at least an extra 8 spaces total, and mixing them between Aggro and non Aggro, then yes we could anger some CHs who all 22 pets as Aggressive, but with the limited number of tamable creatures out there, this would be nice.
Maybe make it 20 of each. That would be nice, while you are at it, can we get the Grand Wrix back to CL22, or raise the Max CL, so I can finally have 3 full grown ones out at once
as my third one became full grown 2 days after they adjusted his level ![]()
Okay back to the thread.
- Increased Pet storage in the datapad to 40 or 50 pets.
- Increased Max Pet Levels to 75, just to have the 3 GSPs or GWs.
- The ability to drop pets of at my house, in Pet deed form.
- The ability to sell tamed pets off the bazaar and vendors.
- Increased spawnrate of the rares.
Thats my personal top 5 and i have to admit that if those were implimented i would most likely forget about any bugs and issues there are in the profession.

I think 40-50 pets would be excessive - you'd either end up with 30 pets you never used, or using all of them but never really having that core few you "bond" with (e.g. my Mountain Dewback and my old Cowardly Gurreck, my new Mottled Wrix just doesn't have the same feeling yet).
Increasing the max CL to 75 is a good idea and certainly wouldn't over-power us. 3 Grand Wrixs following you about would look damn cool too
The ability to put pets we have tamed and trained would be good. It should only be non-BE pets so we don't steal their thunder but it means players could choose to buy matured, pre-trained pets, or baby un-trained Bio-Eng pets but with better stats/resists.

Oops
My personal position is more pet space. I would be very happy with 40-50 total spaces or the current number of spaces + a taming slot + low level slots - in a gameplay sense we still have NO advantage over other players because we can still only have 3 pets out at once at master, and the extra pets only take away from how many waypoints we can have.
