You can also have that pet learn Selfless Sacrafice and absorb damage that would normally be done to you, which basicly greatly increases your armor.

For something to attack, you can get a BE pet made with high damage and give it Marring Storm to get beyond +500 damage.

You have to remember BE pets follow a weighted theory. If you want high health, you gotta sacrafice damage. To get high damage, you gotta sacrafice health. The Bantha I meantioned above seem to be on a mid-point for both Damage and Health useing pure Uller Warhoof DNA. Any BE creature can have this, so skin doesn't matter. I'd sudgesting getting a mount with these abealities. Certain creatures, like Rancor, Kimogilla, and even Dewback seem to be more of a hastle due to their size when full grown.

Depends what support profession you have and what is your combat style, what you like in CH...

You could go to High Damage, High Health, High Hate Increase - This way you can with damage support profession do alot of damage with pet and your attack together plus the mobs will not attack you.

Or you might go to High Defense, High Health, High Agro bonus -If you say you always hunt in group with healers

Or again for High Regen, High Defense, High Agro Bonus - There are several possibilities.
