You should go over to the DE fourm, we don't want Battledroids eather, All alot of us wat are droids that are usefull to everyone including Creature Handlers.
I know the DEs want what I want; droids that perform useful work, not creature pets with metallic skins. But the entire "po-ke-mon" thing has gotten totally out ofcontrol; the desire to be "star-warsy", even if it means breaking continuity (combat droids are a thing of the past in the time frame after the battle of Yavin) is what is running the show now. So, the devs are bound and determined to replace creature pets with combat droids; never mind that if there's a combat imbalance, all you're doing is changing the skin; never mind that droids' true role, that of relieving their meatbag masters of tedious timesinks is one that the devs cannot bear to allow them to fulfill, because it would lessen the timesinks they've built in to the game to protect the primary contentof the game, the skill grind.
/totally agree

i also got ch about 4 weeks ago but i was wondering is there way to heal the vitality? I have never heard of a way to heal it back up to 100? And i was doin ER missions and i passed a TKM taking on 2 ER's at once. They are amazing. I have heard from jedi knights that a TKM can beatthem in a duel. They said you have to be jedi knight lvl 3-3-3-3 to beat anyone with ease. i think ALL the professions in combat should be leveled out.
You can partially heal lost vitality with vitality packs, crafted by BEs, but you can never heal back to 100/100; the best you can do is 99/99. Once a creature pet has taken a vitality hit, it's permanently damaged.
Too late for me...I cancelled two weeks ago. Got tired of reading 2 months worth of gripes since the nerf without even a glimmer of hope as to what is going to be done about fixing the profession. I take it as an indication of the mayhem to come when all the other professions get nerfed to the same point as CH...worthless and lacking any semblance of "fun".
Not that MY griping makes a difference.
Hopefully the unusual cruelty will end in the next few months...then maybe I'll come back. For now, I'm not wasting my time or money...

Hey, what other profession can boost mission levels? We're not useless yet!
From my experience, the total CL meanings nothing for missions. Just the total number in your group. You could have a non-combat droid in group to boost mission payouts...
not true. its based off combat power altho it is not directly related to CL. i can pull 3 full grown gubbers and get the same missions as i was without them on dath. if i pull out my gurreck and my dewback all of a sudden i can get 18k bull rancor and rancor missions. add in a CL10 prob droid and i can get 20k missions.
as for CH being useless. hardly. the only people that think CH is a bad PVE skill is the ones still whining for the return of CL35 light armour 65% kinteic graul maulers. CH did not really become fun till the uberness was removed and it was dropped in power. i think CH is much better now than it was before the CH re-vamp.
sorry but i firmly disagree with the "I win Button" crowd.
Perhaps I'm naive, but I'd also like to see how we stack up once the combat revamp is completed....

Who said CH needed to be a PVP profession anyways? I mean it comes directly off of the scout tree, containing Scout and Ranger, and I dont consider either of those professions to be PVP professions....I like it for what it is, a good PVE profession that allows me to make money, while grinding away on other profs.

Problem is, CH alone is not good at PvP or PvE by itself. If you have Dancer/MCH, you'll be burst running alot when your pets die.
The complaint is, if CH is considered a Combat Profession, CH should be able to fight alone without any help. If your suggesting CH is not a combat profession your wrong. Any profession that can cause damage is and should always be considered a combat professsion. Combat Medics use poisons/diseases to attack. I consider them a combat profession because they can cause damage even if its not with a gun or bare hands. CH can cause damage with there weapons, pets, even though it not them doing the damage (just like Combat Medics).
I can see the reason why this would be considered overpowering in PvE, using a pet with massive fighting and tanking abilites while you can shoot it to death. I think a good compromise would be to give CH's with no other combat Profession the ability to deal out more damage than people with Combat Professions/CH.
And yes the 30 sec timer is stupid and not needed currently. If we were as powerful as we were at launch of this game, then yea that might make sense. CH is a weak pathetic profession that is used to either Grind professions, as I use it for now, or grind missions quickly. They are not viable for anything else.
BTW, they need to fix the rare situation. Rares should not be laughed at like bole fodder, specially with people who have looted legendary weapons that have up to 1-2k max damage.
