I have noticed that and the /pet command gets them to lay down again. Also, several CHs i've talked to say that their pets no longer auto-store at random. Don't know if anyone was having this issue. I personally was not, but it's good to see it's no longer a problem.
Now, if they would just let us put our pets in our command menu to call them with the click of a mouse.

This tends to happen along server boundaries, for example, where the no-build zone stops and the build zone begins

I for one am super excited about the change. Not just the change itself but the fact that we rated getting some Dev time devoted to making the change. That means a developer spent time on the code and had to poke around. That means there is a chance they may see other small changes that can be made to help us out. I know the big changes will be prioritized differently but I am happy we are at least on someone's schedule.

Can someone explain this change to me? I don't understand what they are talking about. I think the update is very vague. Does this mean if I say Smokey Stay... only Smokey will stay? Or do I have to retrain Smokey's Stay command as Smokey Stay and then only Smokey will stay.... but isn't this how it was anyway?
The message subject suggests we can call our pets out of the data pad by their name. But that doesn't work for me. I don't see call as a command either.
I called three pets out. And put them on Stays. Then told them to come one at a time by using their name Smokey Heel. Vox Heel. Blossum Heel.
And they stood there looking at me like... "Blink"
LOL
So. please explain this change to me.

From what I understand, the name doesn't matter when ordering them. If you have "Bob" out and his command to attack is "A". then saying "Bob A" will make him attack. Most likely saying "Hey stupid A" would make him attack too.
Previously, when more than one pet was out, you'd have to put their name in () with the command for that particular pet to acknowledge you. I dunno if you have to still. There was no in-depth talk about what changed. Just the generic "here's what we did instead of making the pets make noise".

I agree. I have pets trained on certain commands like group, follow and store with their names. Doesn't do to tell Pickles to store and all of my pets store. This sounds a lot like what we had before....unless I'm missing something here. I know they adjusted it so that you dont have to go throug hthe rotary menu to train the same command, you just say it till it sticks, but I dont know about this.

Well, it sounded like we could either give individual commands or all commands, but evidentally does not work that way.
