I know you were referring to the CR. That was my point, my friend. You said "nerf us again". Your pessimism at something that has not occurred yet is what made me ask you "why are you still here?"
Before giving the CR any negative monikers, why don't we wait and see what transpires.

They are no doubt busy with the upcoming Sandbox testing. In my opinion, the silenced pets can wait. It is not somethingany of us needs to have at the moment. Let them fix this game as a whole and the respective professions individually. Leave the small stuff for later.

How would you like it if your pike didn't swing whatsoever?

That is a poor example. Our pets not making sounds does not make them combat ineffective. It just makes them silent. If our pets were not dealing any damage in battle, that would be a major issue, indeed. My pike not swinging means it's useless to me. How doour pets being silent make them absolutely of no use tous? That is what your example is implying, is it not? If I'm wrong, please correct me.

HOLD IT, HOLD IT!

step back a sec, please. For some people this is more of a problem then for others. For me i consider this not as relevant as the upcoming nerf, but yes it is a major issue for me. I miss my pet's sounds just as much as anyone if not more. Sounds do not make for combat effectiveness directly in that point darth is correct however it can be usefull to hear our pets (since they are behind us while moving) and hearing them agro is a lot easier then having to look at the map every few seconds when just riding a mount through the wilderness not looking for things to fight. The lack of pet sounds is also a problem because of the imersion factor, having pets make sounds is more realistic and helps players get more into the game.
Some people might not think so, Im just stating that some people have diffrent priorities, yes i want this fixed; preferable sooner, but others might not.

I will totally agree with you in that it does take away from the game in terms of the realism. In fact, I suggested, others have as well, that an animals roar be an intimidation attack. I mean, who does not freeze in their tracks when they hear one of those mighty cats roar across the plains. I'm not saying it's not annoying. I'm just saying, from my perspective, it's not paramount in retrospect of everything else that we need to be fixed. That's all I meant.

i agree their are things that need to take precident, especially now with this impending nerf and the cr in the sandbox but i do believe that this could easily be hot fixed. Glad we could stop this from turning into a flame fest tonight, O'well back to studying mythology... college can suck.

Yeah, I had a bunch of friends over when I heard harvestors were animated again. And praise the lord I can now make a "loser" sign on my forehead. I can even give someone "the bird"!

I have a CL49 Vir Vur that I sic on the Corsec Troopers when I get my buffs in Coronet. He still makes his silly little barking noises.....my other pets do not. Was my Vir Vur inocculated from the nerfing bat of silence?

I found this really strange. What is going on with pet sounds anyway?

As much as the DEVS have "ignored" CH in the past, I think your comment is completely

disgraceful. This is not SMALL STUFF. The only true CH's left love their pets, they are

our companions in the Star Wars universe. Pets without sounds is ludicrous. Let them

take away the whirring noise from the lightsabers and see the outcry that generates.

OK, well you take it how you like. My point was, I think there are more importantissues on the agenda that need attention in this profession than the pets not making sounds. I would think you would agree. Or, perhaps not.

I can clearly see what your point was, NOW. I think if you go back and re-read your original post, you

never made mention of issues concerning the CH PROFESSION. Your post

implies ALL PROFESSIONS, and that is why you are calling me Mr. Overreating. I wasn't

overreacting to what I thought you were saying. Everyone knows they take care of every other profession

before CH gets thought about, and I don't think that is right. Enough said.
