In reality I use about 5 pets with any regularity.....BE rancor for heavy work, mountain dewback and gurreck for med work and mission building. I occationally pull out the webmaster or the screecher for a change.

The rest I have for show or occational changes of pace. I still have my original GSP as an old friend. Pulled him out to hunt meatlumps the other day for old times sake

Yeah, my 2 rills, 2 servotts, and 1 Nuna get alot of use. More like they get trained and then go bye-bye. In the future, I plan on having 3 pets, all of them attack pets. Well, that's as soon I a can level up some. Until then, KILL SERVOTT! KILL!

I use about 90% of the creatures in my data pad. These are mostly combat pets or mounts, though I have a few for RP purposes (companion pets). I normaly leave 2-3 open slots so that I can train clones for clients or tame that occassional rare that I may come accross (not often though:smileysad Of course I also have one or two pets of sentimental value that I just keep around, first tamed pet, gifts from friends, etc.

I use all of mine for either combat or roleplay. Twin GSP Artemis and Apollo acompany myself and my guildies on hunts (those were a pain to catch ) so Larry the Razorcat gets break from combat once in a while. Stampy, my Dewback mount, helps me slay Rancors as does Liz (Wolf Kima). I'll have my two Fambas follow me through Theed just so I can laugh when I get tells from Jai asking me to store them. I have a BEd Kliknik named Frink that can deal some heavy damage and he's underestimated in PvP until he poisons somebody. Then there's always the classic tell the Graul Mauler to follow a n00b through Eisley routine. Can't forget my loyal spineflap Connie. I am entertaining the idea of having just enough CH to call my GSP and takeing up Squad Leader, I reeeeealy wanna try SL out. Seems fun

I use all of the pets in my datapad for the purpose that I decided to keep them for, some for combat, some for show and a few mounts.

I rotate my combative pets, as they approach 50% damage move to the next pet or combo.

Show/collector pets like the Giant Veermok are good for engaging the interest of newer players in CH or advertising your location when offering training, mine (uglymonkey) always gets comments in town.

Mounts, for me,are a personal thing, I really like Banthas, Cu Pa and Humbabas so I have one of each and use them at different times depending on my mood.

80% of my pets I use at least once per weak

of those 80%:

60% combat

10% companion pets (they accompany me around for social purposes)

30% show off pets

The other 20% are constantly being added and deleted, as they're the pets that I find, and tame just for "sheets and giggles"

Yep, I use all of my pets, too. And they're all used in combat as well as role play. I like to use 2 pet combos, and I can cycle thru them fairly quickly if I'm doing tough missions. (I store them when they drop down to around 1/4 of their health). I don't use my level 50 pets as much as my combos, but I do use them. Would use them a lot more if they'd increasethe max level of pet we could call.

I used to rotate my pets more...but for the last 2 months, IF i use my pets, I just use my 2 favorites and heal them with stims. However, since I got TKM, I don't seem to need my pets as much as I used to and I'm now in the process of dropping CH all together.

I must say out of 21 pets I use them all. Unlike it seems a majority of ch. I use all be pets. Even my mounts tank. using all of my pets allows me to use very few stem packs, about 1 a month, mainly after poison or when i'm in a hurry.

I use pretty much all of my pets, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions are the ones that fought by my side from early on. My Viscious Huf Dun was there during my first Krayt victory. Lost his second 2 vitality points that day. First two he lost as a baby shortly after taming him. We got jumped about 60m from his family and he went down before I knew what hit us.

My GW is my favorite pet. She gets retirement status. She comes out on occasion to play, but when age removed her armor, she became delicate. Still 100 vitality on her. For her I dragged 7 NPCs, 2 droids, 1 Wrix and 1 Player all over a mountain side looking for her. She had ran off after a Stormtrooper during the Themepark. We looked for her for 10 minutes, until I finally got an XP message that stated she had won her battle. I stored her and pulled her back out to see she still had a quarter health left and that stormie had none.

With a few exceptions like the ones above, I tend to use my pets. I have a 3 pet combo, and I have a few 2 pet combos. I still ride my mounts. I still let my cats loose on a Scavenger or Womprat from time to time. I even let some of my pets kill Meatlumps when I need to raise my CorSec faction again.

I sometimes just sit in a camp with my retired pets and stare off into the wilds of Endor.

However, if I had more space or better yet, a higher CL cap, I would have more triplets or higher level twins and I would definitely use them more often. I am still sad that my third GW didn't get full grown until after they changed her stats and I never had the chance to have 3 armored GWs fighting beside me.

I don't use all the pets in my datapad, although I would still like more space.

There are probably 5 or 6 pets that I count on for most situations. The remainder are ones I haven't played with enough that I am comfortable to give them a prime role during combat, roleplay, situations I dreamed up that I wanted the pet for but haven't run into yet, or sentimental value.

As several people have pointed out, the datapad already has an item limit. I suspect it was a design decision to limit the number of pets and less of a database space issue. I have a feeling the Devs wanted to force CH's to choose carefully the pets they have in their datapads instead of letting them have as many as they could make room for in the datapad.

That brings back memories. Mine lost their armor and no longer work together anymore. I had a team of three and we took on the galaxy. Hardly Uber, but was great RP and fun. I still have them and when they get hungry I call them and feed them things like Spats. lol

I do, as a rare pet collector-I LOVE all my awesome rares and use them all. Actually, I wish there was more space becuase there are tons of rares to get, but that leaves barely any room for any BE pets or favorite "cant delete" pets that you've used as you've grown up CH. I have like 4 pets like that lol!

a bordok named : Bordok the Magnifiicant

a kaadu named: Chicken Legs

a mountain dewy named: Fast Mustang

and

a BE ugly ass narglatch named: Cuddlebutt

I trade these babys back and forth between my Ch buddys so I have room for my rares, but i admit ill never forget my precious babys
