I have been looking for about a month on and off on Intrepid. I had found 6 six adults within one week just outside one of the player cities and I haven't seen once since then and that was 3 weeks ago.
I am still hoping to find one of these rare beauties on my server... Hopefully soon.....

I was on Naboo last night killing ST's with my girlfriend and came across a Swamp Stalker. I admit I've never seen one of those before, it seems similar to the Great Plains Stalker but not as much HAM. But it's resists are much better then a GPS. So out of curiousity I took it out to see if a baby would spawn. Well another adult spawned and i took him out, then on the next cycle a baby popped up. Took me 3 tries to tame him as he aggro'ed me twice, he's a nasty little rascal. But I was wondering if these are supposed to be as hard to find as a GPS, because I just recently got a GPS after looking for almost 6 months.Did I get extremely lucky to find him or is this an easy to find pet?? Just curious. Anyway, he seems like a decent petand I'm glad to have found him.

they are not as rare as a GPS. ive tamed 7 swamp stalker babies. though having trouble as of late getting one for a friend

Swamp Stalkers are more comparable to Greater Sludge Panthers than the Great Plains Stalker, since you can have two Swamp Stalkers out at once.

They are much harder to find than Greater Sludge Panthers. I've been camped out on the Keren Peninsula all week, I can't even count how many I've killed without a baby.

lets not misunderstand this...swamp stalkers ARE rare, just not as rare as great plains stalkers.
id personally rate a GPS as a9.5 and a SS as an 8.5 based on rarity

Especially considering they're single, non-lair spawns (at least to the best of my knowledge)

as Tivo said, they're not RARE. they're uncommon, certainly.
