Thread: What would it take to fix MCH?
I'm new to this prof (and SWG), but all your arguments sound solid to me.

Believe me, I'm fine with the change as I quickly found a way to make it work for me, but it's underhanded to do that isn't it?

I don't know if I missed it, but was there a reason stated as to why GSPs and such had their levels raised from 23 or 22 to 25? I felt I was being cheated. They said they weren't going to drop the control level for MCH so we could still have our pet control level of 70, but now they sneaked in a way to remove that.

Kzin,
I think we have hashed through this a number of times but for the sake of the few who haven't we can repeat the process. The really sad thing is, the Devs don't care.
I think all of your stated objectives are true so I will just /sign under that.
Let me add a couple of ideas:
1) Mounts only on advanced planets. Think about it, how many people just go whizzing by aggroed spiders, rancors, nitesisters etc. on dath because they know they can just ride out of aggro range on a speeder. So eliminate speeders/vehicles from advanced planets. Give mounts on advanced planets a bonus in terrain negotiation. I think it should be a wild, scarry and exciting ride around all the aggros. Yes it is frustrating but it would give us back a way to make money.
2) Keep the learning tree the way it is, no problem there.
3) Just fix the bugs.
totally agree with your post here Sky, ive said it a few times before here on these forums that vehicles should not be allowed on the "adventure" planets, which are Endor, Dath and Yavin. none of those have player cities so theres no need to have vehicles there imho. those planets are meant as hunting grounds and exploration, enjoy the scenery etc. vehicles are just a way to exploit missions and avoid death there.
as for the rest of this thread. sounds good to me.

I'd be happy with pet healing power, an easily obtainable supply of pet stims that healed pets to the tune of 5k or so. your pet could tank for ever if you could keep it healed with very good big pet heals, then you'd need a bit more damage output.
