I have completely changed my character template to revolve around Master Creature Handler. I have given up all Artisan and Merchant skills and Mastered Scout, nearly mastered Pistoleer and gotten novice Ranger. I do not anticipate extinction in the least.

I will not drop my CH skills, nor will I ever conform to whatever it is that SOE seems to think I have to do to have a good time. I refuse to acknowledge anyone that thinks my critters are a crutch, or that I am a coward for using them, or that I can even remotely stomach that bloody yellow snotrag of a cartoon.

I love my critters and as long as I play the game, I will have critters to play with me.

MCH is not 'common' but its not rare either as there are lots of CHs around ( a bit hard to tell though with all the BE pets around). I'm going MCH/Master Rifleman myself. And I was a MCH before the hologrind.

Been a master CH since sept. 03 and would'nt drop it for nothing. Even through this hologrinding(currently on 12th profession, carbineer) it helps to get higher paying missions and "solo groups" on dant love having a level 50 pet in the group..

only reason i would drop master is to finish a holo, then i would work my tail off to master again

Simple fact: CH IS dying out. Becuase it's just plain weak. Only people who CHOOSE to be less powerful pick CH over stuff like TKA. Sad but absolutely factual. You can COMBINE the two but CH as a main profession is OVER. EVEYTHING a MCH can do, any other combat elite can do better.

No still MCH here.

But i don't walk around with the title anymore, i've grown tired of the constant ranting from people when they send me a tell about they want a bantha or Cu pa trained, something i would do at any time, but i will charge for, even CHs got to make a living.

One of the many reasons I turned down the hologrind is that I would have to give up MCH. Watching it's effect on others convinces me that I was wise to ignore the grind for more reasons then I new in the early days. Been MCH since just before mounts came out (or just after. It was close Not leaving. I need my pets for harvester runs. Non of my friends are on at the right times nor would they be willing to stand around while I survey. Now if my pets would just stay with me on harvester runs
