Here you are:
Hit Control+Shift+S to spin the camera and pan all the way out:
(This would be in toolbarslot 23 of course)
/ui action targetSelf;
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/tellpet (attack command); (this keeps the attack command quiet)
/pause (amount of time for pet to kill it);
/loot all;
/tellpet (follow command); (this keeps the command silent)
/ui action toolbarSlot23;

don't forget to add a line in there to harvest meat or hide or bone.
if you get the patrol commands and want CH xp, get a pet thats lvl 20-25, get him buffed, especially regen stats, go to newbie area, set patrol points, tell pet to patroll in circle, go a bit into the town, rigth inside the border while your pet patrols just outside, go AFK.
no exploits, no macros, just simple usage of ingame provided abilities.
A pet patroling gives you ch exp?? i made mch and never used patrol so i'm not aware of it's function other that roleplay or novelty. How does it get exp? (my guess is maybe if mob enters patrolled area pet attacks)
I never used formations either, and never seen specials work:-( I didnt grind, but worked on ch for several months, but it sounds like i missed quite a bit still.

Mat, I am sorry, but you have no idea what you are talking about.
It has been explicitly stated by several SOE employees that the part of theEULA you are refering to is meant to apply only to 3rd party macro tools (such as macromaker), NOT the in-game tools. The history of this situation is simple; They 'borrowed' the EULA language from Everquest, which had no build-in macro tool. They forgot to add in the '3rd-party' part into the language, but that is the intent of it.
If you think about it for a second, you will realize how stupid it sounds to not be allowed to use the in-game controls for the only purpose that they serve.

FYI, the ingame holocron help says and i quote
- Is AFK-macroing okay?
Yes it is.
Not that im terribly keen on them myself. IMO you are missing out on the main aspect of an MMOG if you use afk-macros all the time : interaction with other players. ![]()
I have lots of macros. Did a few classes mostly AFK. Not creature hanlder but it's not realy a great class for macroing.
I'm a computer programer. I get paid to make code that does things for me and others. Macroing is in and of its self a fun activity. It takes some creativity and skill to make a good macro that works well and does what is intended. Personaly I like to add emotes and some random utterances to mine, especialy if I'm doing it in public. There are games out there that are entirely devoted to programing characters and such ahead of time and watching them go in an interactive environment. The tools are in the game, its rude to fault someone clever enough to use them well.
Pletnty of people in this game have so little personality Its hard to tell if they are macroing or not. I have more respect for someone who macros some tedious process than someone who does something tedious themselves and dosn't enjoy it. Of cource a macroer is no substitute for someone who plays the game with relish. Killing yard trash for grind exp isnt much different AFK or sitting right there clicking the mouse.
