Brief description of your experience with Creature Handling to date.
I have been a Master Creature Handler on the Lowca server since approximately September 20, 2003...never once droppedthe title.I have also been a SWG player since July 6, 2003. I never saw myself playing an MMORPG, but when my friends told me there was a Star Wars one, I had to try it out. Now, I could go on and on about everything that happened since the beginning til now...but for those of us who are submitting an application here, I think I can give you all the abridged version (maybe, heh):
We have been through good times, and bad. Remember back in the day with the gurrecks and rancors, or the merek frenzy in late fall, or the discoveries of new tamable species, or the introduction of mounts, or the start of the Galactic CH Guild, and Im sure none of us will ever forget our first pet or great rare. Unfortunately, we have certainly seen our share of bad times. The two main patches that rebalanced us and startedthe CHdownfall, and the countless days of no answersto our cries of help, and the members of the CH community who have sadly left us. When I remember ALL of the players who helped me from the start til now in the game or here on the forum, and all of the hunts, and the finds, and the overall atmosphere that it brought to the game...it really makes me hurt inside to see where we are today. But, I am proud to say my will is strong and Ihave survived asone of the very few...heroes, and thats not supposed to be modest, thats to represent you guys, all of us, as one (you know who you are). Creature Handler is the lone reason why I have stayed with the game, plain and simple. And I am willing to wait just a bit more to finally be acknowledged for our hardships and patience. To Vert and everyone who has been with me for the ride...thank you. And to those who have been here for some part of the way, good luck and good hunting ![]()
Brief description of the most interesting bug you have ever found in a video game (doesn't have to be SWG).
Wait, most interesting bug in a game or most bugs in a game? heh, just kidding!
Hmm. Probably would have to be in Halo when you could climb/ride "out" of the world in the Blood Gulch level as if you were in space looking down at earth. Very cool, pretty challenging, and its fun to do to people who dont know about it, lol. Of course I tell them afterwards so they can do it to their friends, heh.
Your favorite SWG pet and why it is your favorite.
Yikes, you had to ask. Well...I for one cherrish and love every single one of my pets. I...as well as countless others...endured frantic, prolonged hunts for those little yellow dots and words cannot describe how grateful I am for achieving my goal of taming all rare creatures. Vesps, narglatches, giant veermoks, thunes, klikniks, and gurks are definately some of my favorite species. But with that being said, the ravenous torton is my favorite tamable pet. I love them, thats all there is to it. And they should have armor with that shell, darn it! I will never stop complaining about that, lol.

Brief description of your experience with Creature Handling to date - Went up CH tree pretty far when I first got the game but dropped it to try out other profs (I feel it was a mistake to leave CH). I have come back to CH and am currently working back up the trees again.
Brief description of the most interesting bug you have ever found in a video game (doesn't have to be SWG)- Halo for PC - Found a way out (or atleast passed the boundary) of almost every level (ex. Getting on top of Timberland [everyone on Halo PC knows of this glitch/bug now] and Danger Canyon [very few people know of this one]). I also found a bug in Grand Theft Auto 3. I was driving and my van fell part way though the road, when I got out I fell through the ground then out of the sky. The van is still stuck in the road.
Your favorite SWG pet and why it is your favorite - My favorite SWG pet has to be Rancors, even though I can't tame one yet I still love them. I first started liking them when I seen Jabba's Rancor in the movies and was very pleased to see they are tamable in SWG. My favorite pet I currently have is my Perlek. I love to sit in my camp outside of Mos Eisley and have all the new player come and comment on my "awesome pet".

As you may have heard, each correspondent is being asked to recommend five people to do early Combat Revamp testing when it goes to the "sandbox" server. If you are a Creature Handler and would be interested in assisting with this, please post the following information in this thread:

Brief description of your experience with Creature Handling to date. Vert I really think you know this but CH since august, ex master but still a CH, 2 other CH characters on other servers in various states. Been there tamed all but the rares.
Brief description of the most interesting bug you have ever found in a video game (doesn't have to be SWG). Autostore need I say more
Your favorite SWG pet and why it is your favorite. GSP specifically Razorwitt. This guy helped me get most of CH , Protected me while faction farming from lame player imps trying to kill solo rebels. That and having 3 of them do tricks around you (when we could call 3 of them) was just so awsome.

I'm very intrested in this
I have seen almost everything there is in CH. The goods, the bads, and the patches. I have been a CH, on launch, and now have another character keeping up my CH skills. I now have a MCH on the Kauri server.
Most intresting bug I have seen is the double pet call bug. I believe it's still out there now. You call a pet, but it doesn't respond to any commands. Basically you have to store it then call it again to use it. Funny thing is that the first pet doesn't store and just follows you around till you mount your speeder and lose it.
My favorite CH pets are any spider pets. Arachne, Anglers, Shear Mites, I can't get enough of them. They are the coolest pets in my opinion.

I have be a MCH for a very long time. I tried the profession out of curiousity and have loyallykept with it eversince I tamed my first Chuba. Many professions have come and gone but none has been as appealing or as fun as CH. Even with pets being drawn down for the combat balance the profession is still fun, it just requires more tactics.
I was able to clone my pets while standing on server lines. While it may not be interesting, it was very amusing to run around with 2 copies of the same pet.
My favorite pet is my Bio-Engineered Sludge Panther. The skin is sleek and elegant and excellant for combat. In tis galaxy of speeders, the skin is also super fast. Plus they have nice tricks.
