The best pet is TKM/Fencer so drop MCH before the bitterness sets in.

I use a main tank, back up pet combo almost always. My combos include as main tanks a Gaping Spider Recluse CL 44 or a Toxic Merek Battlelord CL 45, and as back ups, a Boar Wolf or Greater Sludge Panther both CL 25. Another good combo I useis a CL 40 Delirious Merek Avenger and a CL 30 Graul. When doing larger animal or NPC lairs, I always like to have a pet in the backgroud to step up in case of adds.
