Macro doesn't seem to be working for me, however I just got some BE clothes (never used them before because it was still possible without them) and I am impressed. I am getting tough tams within a few tries. A few exceptions apply, like the chevroned CL70 Lava Flea Guard. He was one tough SOB to tame, but I finally got him after more than a half hour of running from his ass...no abilities though =/

and who says you can't tame an old blurg new tricks?...errrm... to be honest, I usually get all my tames in 2, except for a few, very anxious fuzzy little shin biters. but I think this is the top of the cake. thanks for the post.

Would this constitute a little "out of the box" thinking for the CHs ?
I have no idea why I went for BE clothes and Crispies first when trying to tame nasty critters when all I most likely needed to do was walk up, hope they did not see the ALR in my hand and cuddle the lovely little guy with the huge sharp fangs.
/SlapSelf (for not being nice to baby critters before I kidnap them)

I'll admit i've never tried anything like this when taming creatures.
I'll give it a whirl and see if it helps with the taming, can't hurt to try.
I'll be needing to find a suitable subject to try it on, perhaps something not to nasty but fun to tame, say a Arachne or a Graul

I don't have a clue if the macro you describe works or not ... but ... the reaction I get from others when using it ("geeze Hardley, what the heck you doin' to that critter??) is enough for me to keep using it!!

/burstrun for notebook to write this down
It's gonna be hilarious to see a 7-foot-tall Wookie nuzzling baby critters...

well I tried the commands tonite on a raptor. Still took me 6-7 tries and the first time after eating the almond things I got the tame.
So proof if there is any will have to come with lots of tests and statistic gathering.

Who needs proof? Surely, this is better than just sitting there listening to the typical taming dialogue... I got so bored with that. I think that adding in some pet responses will make things more interesting!
